Don't Forget About The 8800! Here are the specs!! {BBHub}
Jan 10th 2007 6:24PM As always, Hayden is simply re-hashing information that's been known for a long time - 3 months this time around.

All of the information posted by Hayden yesterday was available in mid-October, go figure.
Report: RIM to add Windows Media, Quicktime support {BBHub}
Nov 29th 2006 11:51PM Just to note, for Steve (and others), this won't be available until sometime next year, I'm assuming. This is a 'future probable complete' list, although it may not be 100% complete (there may have been an image format or two left off, possibly). Anyhow, just a glimpse into what's to come down the road, so let's all start tapping our fingers once again... :)
BlackBerry 8800: an MP3 QWERTY on way but no camera {BBHub}
Sep 15th 2006 1:00AM PTT is offered by Cingular only. The Platform.alx file has the PTT files pinned to the Cingular vendor code only, as well (although, if removed, you can load the PTT software on the handheld by default).
Also missing from the 8800 will be voice commands/voice activated dialing, which seems to be a fairly popular feature of the 8100.
BlackBerry 8703e on Verizon this month? {Engadget Mobile}
Aug 9th 2006 6:04PM @yewk0n, it is the 8703e. For sh*ts and giggles, it was actually, at one time, the 8702e. But nevertheless, the letter is at the end. :)
For BIS users, today's Exchange patch has a catch {BBHub}
May 9th 2006 11:40AM A BIS user's interaction with their email has NOTHING to do with Exchange or the 'Send As' patch that is now available from Microsoft. This patch ONLY affects BES users that are using Exchange 2000/2003 as their mail platform. The BIS user's reply-to address never will touch an Exchange environment - you could use bgates@microsoft.com as your BIS reply-to address and not have a single issue as it would NEVER touch Microsoft's mail servers.
PC Mag: BlackBerry 8700g gets four of five stars {BBHub}
May 6th 2006 3:42PM "T-Mobile doesn't support using the 8700g as a laptop modem, so I couldn't get solid EDGE speed test results"
I use mine just fine as a tethered modem. I tested at 120kbps downstream and 95kbps upstream. Not great speeds compared to EV-DO or home connections, but it works for its intended purposes (on the road, in an airport, emergencies, etc).
Leaked shots of the Blackberry 7130c {Engadget Mobile}
Apr 6th 2006 10:23AM Just FYI, these pictures are NOT from a Cingular 7130c. They are pictures of a SunCom 7130g. They should be the same form-factor and model, but the end result from Cingular could potentially have different casing and coloring (from someone who has seen one, it does).
It is a 64MB device and is EDGE-capable. It pretty much should have the same exact capabilities that the 8700 series has but in the slim-line form-factor.
My Ten BlackBerry Predictions for 2006 {BBHub}
Jan 26th 2006 9:39PM > 1) Maybe, but TMo doesn't have
> EDGE, so what's the point?
TMO has had 90% of their towers (including about 98% of all major towers) upgraded to EDGE since Sept 1 LAST YEAR.
