Nov 1st 2007 7:20PM Funny enough, the BlackBerry Facebook app eliminates these issues. Instead of getting an email you get a Facebook notification that you can act on right away (accept friend requests, see wall posts, etc). You can also update your status directly. (Background: Microsoft paid Waterloo to make their profs teach C# in computer/electrical engineering classes. And Microsoft hires a lot of students from Waterloo).

Jun 25th 2007 1:24PM I get the feeling you never actually looked at the curve - surprisingly, one of its major praises is that has a fantastic media player. BlackBerry is typically known as a business product, but lately I've seen teens toting a BlackBerry Pearl. Strange eh?

Personally I think it's a multimedia device with a phone attached whereas something like the pearl is a communication device with media attached.
