Jun 24th 2008 11:03AM I own one of these beauties and replaced my iPhone with it. It's gorgeous looking in person, the keys actually work extremely well once you've actually tried using them, 3.5G HSDPA is fantastic with the WebKit browser that HAS FLASH, the A-GPS works fantasticly for Nav and auto geotagging and it also runs the latest Symbian OS (9.3 FP2) which is both super fast and stable.
You guys can bash it all you want, I've never been so happy with a phone before, even when I had the first iPhone. Some things I love using it for:
- Taking amazing pictures or video that it automatically tags the EXIF data with the GPS coordinates
- Downloading podcasts (video/audio) on the phone itself using the built in podcast app
- Syncing with my PC wirelessly over Bluetooth
- Using JoikuSpot Light to set it up as a WiFi access point for when I want to "tether" my laptop
- Use VOIP software to make REAL VOIP calls over data (3G/WiFi) whenever I want
- Use GPS to find voice guided directions to wherever or use Google Maps with it
- Run a TON of games on it that are 3D and can be found free online including Tomb Raider: Legend, Brothers in Arms, and other 3D games.
- Automatically upload my pics/videos to Flickr and online sharing sites directly from phone with tags/GPS coordinates.

Jun 18th 2008 1:03PM I'm usually not one to make these comments but damn if this thing isn't a direct ripoff of the iPhone then I don't know what is!?
Proximity sensor, light sensor, accelerometer?? The two sensors are even in the same position as the iPhone!
TomTom: Nav system "runs on the iPhone already" {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}
Jun 11th 2008 9:30AM TomTom and Garmin Mobile currently cost around $150 on other mobile devices (since they've been available for some time). Doubt it'll be cheaper on iPhone. Also keep in mind it can't run in the background so good luck if you happen to get a phone call in the middle of driving somewhere...GPS won't work until you end the call. Or even if you get an email and want to check email, look up address, etc. Lameo

Mar 3rd 2008 4:12PM Now do the same comparison on a Windows PC...the BB will blow away the iPhone in a second...and I have an iPhone since day 1 but I know right now, at least, BB is way better than iPhone.
Upgrade to 16GB iPhone without changing contract {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}
Feb 7th 2008 1:27PM Couldn't you just do a restore (without restoring your backup) before activating the 16GB. This way when you plug in your old 8GB it will ask to activate it, etc.
Sony claims PS3 success over the 360 {Xbox 360 Fanboy}
Jan 28th 2008 2:37PM I've had an Xbox 360 since launch and love it to say the least. However, I picked up a PS3 this past weekend to balance things out. I already have an HDDVD player but figured I'd get a Blu-Ray player out of the PS3 and maybe a few PS3 exclusive titles. Been playing Uncharted:Drake's Fortune and it's pretty damm good, hopefully other PS3 exclusives will be just as good. When I'm not playing PS3 I just let it do Folding@Home and help cure diseases...
No one says you can't have both. Each has its advantages and disadvantages...I know now because I own both.
