Sep 18th 2007 8:33PM BTW, there is no winner here.
This is all a sick commentary on a litigeous society manipulated by a greedy, ratings- hungry media hell bent on ginning up emotion so it can foist more crappy products to idiot consumers.

Sep 18th 2007 8:24PM Time-Warner, owner of TMZ, may be cupable for buying the audio if there were any prior contacts with Riccio, which I believe do exist. Harvey, come clean and tell us how much you paid for the tape and what prior contact was made with Riccio. Riccio does not seem bright enough to have figured out on his own how to waltz into TMZ offices and strike a deal.
Another case of the media thinking the public rides around on a turnip truck?
Shocker! Judge Says O.J.'s a Flight Risk {TMZ}
Sep 17th 2007 9:16PM On June 20, 2007 court-appointed bankruptcy trustee filed an emergency motion[21] requesting that the web site be held in contempt for its publication of the entire manuscript of If I Did It, O.J. Simpson's purportedly fictionalized account of the murder of Ron Goldman and Nicole Brown Simpson. The filing claims that TMZ's posting of the PDF of the entire book has "diminished or destroyed" the value, which the Goldman family may eventually publish (and promote) as Simpson's confession to the murders.[22]
Good going, TMZ. Also, You are somewhat complicit for buying and publishing the audio.

The iPhone is not a smartphone {Engadget Mobile}
Jan 9th 2007 11:53PM The Zune fanboys are still smarting, so it seems. They'd love to see a Newton, but all they got is a Bob. Boo Hoo.

Jan 9th 2007 10:53PM Gartenberg's observations aside, Apple could obviously offer a Parallels version for iPhone...but then again -- why shouild it? If not offering software products like "Snapperfish" or "Documents to Go" is a big "unfortunate reality" for the iPhone, then Gartenberg's measure of what's cool is really juvenile.
Also note the mega difference in the way Jobs intros his product and the way MS introed the Zune bomb. It ain't subtle.
iPhone isn't a mere smart phone. It's a brilliant phone.
Apple is undeniably the new technology benchmark against which all others are measured today.
