Palm OS "Nova" -- and first Nova device -- look like a lock for CES {Engadget Mobile}
Dec 15th 2008 10:47AM Sorry, I have to try to stomp out this "No va" = "no go" urban legend/meme that has carried over from the 1960's. It is just wrong and embarrassing.
Please read this:

Verizon's Treo 700wx gets a Windows Mobile 6 bump {Engadget Mobile}
Sep 12th 2008 3:20AM No, just WM6
It's actually probably better to use Ebag333's custom WM Treo rom's anyways...more stripped down and faster (works even on the 700w)
Palm now happy to take your $549 for a Treo Pro preorder {Engadget Mobile}
Sep 9th 2008 7:45PM "...no matter how ancient the platform might be"
WM6.1 is "ancient" already? Yikes. I didn't get the memo.
Palm chose HTC over Inventec for Treo Pro? {Engadget Mobile}
Aug 23rd 2008 4:05PM In agreement with RCC2k8
When you open the Treo Pro it even has a little card that says "Inspired by and Designed in California" --so Palm does the designing/engineering (to some degree) and HTC executes. Palm is still doing their OS mods to it, which is really the bigger deal about Palm WM devices imo.
@doubleu
It uses microUSB
Snippets materialize from Sprint's user manual for Touch Diamond {Engadget Mobile}
Aug 22nd 2008 3:35PM The *whole* manual, not just "snippets" was posted at ppcgeeks.com yesterday and we ran the story last night:

Palm's Treo Pro in the wild, probably not fake {Engadget Mobile}
Aug 15th 2008 3:08PM @gareth
If you hit the "read more" links at the bottom of blog posts, they link back to the original source of the article which usually has more information e.g. "Via WMExperts":

btw, welcome to the Internet 2008!
Palm's 10-K filing reveals smaller acquisitions, reads like a mystery novel {Engadget Mobile}
Jul 28th 2008 11:55AM "...the other a developer of email software applications."
Obviously this was Marc Blank of ChatterEmail which was acquired by Palm.
ChatterEmail is considered by many to be one of the most powerful mobile email clients ever developed in terms of pure function and performance (busy UI though) and it's long been speculated that we'd see his work with "Nova".
Although even Versamail has become quite useable and even stable with the latest versions.

Best Buy's $10 headset pairing service includes testing, finger pointing {Engadget Mobile}
Jul 14th 2008 7:49AM Gotta give WM6.1 some credit here (for once): when you pair your headset with that OS, you don't even have to enter in the 4-5 digit "code" as most are listed within the OS now to fully automate the procedure.
That makes it a lot more transparent to the end user.
Waiting for some other mobile OSs to do the same.
Palm's Treo 800w now available online from Sprint {Engadget}
Jul 13th 2008 6:31PM Exactly.
I mean, the whole reason I buy a smartphone is because it looks "cool" or "sexy". How well it works or its features are totally irrelevant. This is 2008 after all. duh.
I don't even care if they make calls or can do MMS just as long as people don't judge me based on the crude aesthetics of my mobile (shudder).
There is only one true measurement of a good smartphone which Palm doesn't get: how good are their commercials.
If my phone isn't pirouetting and glossy with child music playing in the background...I don't want it.
