128mb/256mb RAM/ROM
After the OS boots, you'll have 100mb RAM and about 174mb ROM for programs.
That's about ~25mb of more RAM and ROM than the comparable HTC Touch, even though they have the same amount physically.
Re: length of the manual....
Err..if you just compare this one to the 6800, Touch, iPhone etc. you'll see that's it's the same info except the 800w has...well more detail. I'm not sure why that's a bad thing.

Jul 3rd 2008 7:46PM Probably pretty far but it was terrible. Elevation (i.e. Rubenstein) joined the board of Palm in June 2007 and began revamping/hiring for some teams, dismissing others (hello Foleo).
Basically this sounds like part of the restructuring by Elevation Partners, which is what you'd expect theme to do--otherwise it's admitting nothing was wrong at Palm to begin with.

You're kidding, right? Look at the Treo 180, 270 and 300...i.e. the devices cited by RIM for violating their patent in 2002.
No smile--they are straight.
The patent by RIM is on “..a hand-held electronic device with a keyboard optimized for use with the thumbs.” That is their claim.
It is not the "smile" since Handspring/Palm devices did not even incorporate that until the Treo 650. You know...years after they have settled with RIM on the kb infringement issue.

While that would be nice, it's not true. RIM's patent is on the whole idea of a "front qwerty KB", not the "smile".

WM Pro devices have an "OK" button and soft keys. You need to fix your post ;-)
This is a WM Pro device with a flush KB, just like the Vodafone "drucker" map said.
