Video: Cops take a dude's Xbox 360 {Xbox 360 Fanboy}
Nov 24th 2008 8:57AM I am born, raised and still live in Orange Co. (Orlando), FL.
Orange Co. Sheriff dept?
Yeah, that pig fucking took it.
Most crooked dept in all of Central Fl.
Got a sheriff who takes 'gifts' from just about anyone, his name is Kevin Beary.
Spends thousands of tax money on 'urban anti-assualt' vehicles because... well, no one knows why and is still trying to figure it out.
Then he spends thousands on over-priced high-powered elephant rifles... just in case they need them for escaped animals from any of our theme parks or our one zoo (a zoo which isn't even in Orange Co. limits). Because, you know, rampant animals is a constant problem where we live.
(I'm not dumb by the way, it's pork-barrel spending. Use up the money they have so they can argue for more in their budget the next year, yeah, I know...)
With that kind of leadership, how do you expect the duputies are going to behave?
Why Orange Co. keeps voting him in as sheriff is beyond me. Orlando Police Dept does all the real work while his fat pigs are stealing game consoles from citizens.

Nov 20th 2008 2:34PM ok ok... all great but easy jokes aside... I would actually get this for my desk at work. See how many people would really stick their finger in it.

Nov 20th 2008 2:26PM Zero problems with anything other than my hard drive (I have a wonky hard drive that constantly needs to have the cache cleared).
Updated took 7 minutes... created an Avatar... checked out my friends... downloaded the Netflix app and tested a few flicks (very good quality on my 47inch 1080P)... then played some fable 2, one of the glitchiest games ever made... and not a damn thing went wrong.
knock on wood.
I have newer Arcade system purchased in September (previously I had an old launch-date Core system that had 2 RROD).

Man that movie sucked.

I also imagine the heat generated from power would be a danger. Don't want to fry her brain.

Apple's Greg Joswiak touts iPod touch as the future of handheld gaming {Engadget}
Nov 12th 2008 1:10PM Didn't anyone even mention one small thing:
Gameboy has been the #1 handheld gaming device since 198X???
"I can install the same $10 game across many iPods and not have to buy my kids $30 carts blah blah blah"
Yeah, because your kids want to play Zuma, Monkey Ball, bowling, solitaire, Ms. Pac-Man, and Sodoku... as opposed to Final Fantasy 4, Pokemon, Super Mario, Nintendogs or WWE Smackdown, right?
And because you also believe that if there is a day when Apple runs a game such as Metal Gear AC!D on the touch/phone, no one is going to raise the cost of that game above $10 and Apple has no way of locking it to one-per-device?
Get real. Shenanigans Apple, shenanigans.
Windows Mobile 6.5 screenshots have a little Zune in 'em {Engadget}
Nov 12th 2008 12:45PM @Alek
You're thinking too small (not an insult)... don't think "music", think, "Portable, wi-fi enabled, app-capable, sharing and storage device". If MS ever gets off their butt and comes through with the Live integration they boasted like 2 years ago... it would be glorious for us Xbox/Zune/PC peoples.
But you're right, streaming music from PC to Xbox works hella better than plugging in an iPod and waiting 20 minutes for the damn thing to read.
As far as WinMo... damn, fake or not, this is what they need. The Zune UI is so clean and crisp and would be amazing on a cellphone. Combine that with some touchscreen action, and WinMo could finally really be in the game.
Too bad I'm all Android now.
Blockbuster could release its own movie set-top-box {Engadget}
Nov 10th 2008 2:09PM Back in the day, it was your friendly neighborhood corporation-eater Viacom that owned Blockbuster... I'm not sure if it still is today though.
(Oh, you know Viacom! CBS! Paramount! MTV! Comedy Central! VH1... and on and on...)
Blockbuster could release its own movie set-top-box {Engadget}
Nov 10th 2008 10:36AM And once again, Blockbuster has shown that the only way they know how to do business is to STEAL THEIR COMPETITOR'S IDEAS.
They did it back in the day as a brick and mortar store and they continue to do it today. It's like their unspoken mantra. I know, I'm a former employee (long, long time ago) and I was the dweeb who actually read the company newsletters. Corporate leeches they are.
