My Favorite Mac Apps: Erica's Take {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Aug 27th 2008 5:32PM Even the most obtuse machead can't deny that Numbers is a simplistic POS. Perhaps in two or three version it will be usable, but currently it can't hold a candle to Excel.

Pages is usable and I think Keynote is better than Powerpoint because of the better graphics and effects.

Aug 27th 2008 5:02PM Furthermore I have many Macs *and* an iPhone, but the number of iPhone news has gotten pretty ridiculous, while at the same time the number of Macs news has gone down in quality and quantity.

You guys have become just another random iPhone news site.

Aug 27th 2008 4:56PM I just hope you actually manage to post one news each day, out of the deluge of iPhone related news, related to Macs.

Delicious Library 2 preview {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Oct 21st 2007 4:26AM @StevenC

Shouldn't this be the case for all DL users then?

I mean when I first "came back" to the Mac in the early Jaguar days, everybody seemed to be talking about DL and how great it was (like now), you know more or less like a Mac benchmark application for others to follow.

It (DL) may have more eye candy, but the *Pedias are much more powerful in functionalities, and in the end more useful.

Delicious Monster previews Library 2 web export {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Oct 7th 2007 4:23AM Tom,

I don't know why you waste time with Delicious Library (DL), the *pedias have much better functionalities - including what you seek - than this toy.

DL is all shits & giggles eye candy, the *pedias are the real deal used by Mac power users and run circles around DL.

Analyst: 10% of iPhones sold to unlockers {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Oct 4th 2007 4:18PM Is it possible to stop with the Apple apologies already?

Anybody with the opportunity to try out an unlocked one with applications installed, can figure out in less than 30 seconds the tremendous advantages of unlocking it.

If you think that at $400 Apple is not already making a huge markup, then you're a fool and deserve to be gouged by Apple locked-in business model.

Joost releases beta 1.0 to public {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Oct 4th 2007 2:09PM It's a neat idea, but the content is craptastic at best.
