Hands-on with Motorola's S9-HD stereo Bluetooth headset {Engadget Mobile}

Jan 11th 2008 2:56AM Yeah - hands on?

How about some specs - rev. changes - something, informative other than the existence of the device.

Engadget HD giveaways: win a Samsung HL-S5679W DLP with LED backlight {Engadget HD}

Dec 31st 2006 12:44AM OMG - I am a proud owner of the PS3. I can't wait to see it on HD - I've been neurotically window shopping every electronics store and website I know. ^_^

Quick comment on the console debate:

Wii seems to be an everyone console - mostly reputation I think. Non-gamers more likely to play it because of the lower cost, and more cartoon like graphics (though not all are of course)

xBox - I have heard SO MANY comments from xBox owners stating that the xBox is superior to the PS3. Mocking the cost, etc...

PS3 - I hear mostly loyalist comments, some snide, stating that Sony, though proprietary, has the superior hardware.

Personally? Cost effectively, to get an xBox and accessories to play HD-DVD, wireless G, 60GB HDD, wireless controllers versus the PS3 60GB model that has Blu-ray and the rest built-in...and has media card slots, USB 2.0, well it seems to be cheaper or the same to go Sony.

As for graphics, they seem quite similar. But in 4 years, what will be here? The NEWER stuff of course, and it will be Microsoft surely who hits the market first.

But by waiting a bit, I have a console NOW that has the latest inside one box. Versus the xBox which has the external HD-DVD player, required DVD remote to play DVD's.

And processing power - what's the debate there? Intel has just released it's quad-core processors. AMD too. And IBM cell? 8! (obvioulsy they aren't the same technologies, and will vary in capability and performance BUT I see a pattern - innovation versus imitation)

Choose the innovators!

Best wishes for the New Year!
