Dan Hesse sez Android "not yet good enough" for Sprint brand {Engadget Mobile}

Oct 25th 2008 5:56PM I think carcomptoy has a very good point, but aside from that, I don't think it would hurt to put out one solid android device and see how his customers respond to it...

Broke for the Holidays? Try "I Promise To..." Coupons! {WalletPop}

Oct 20th 2008 3:19PM I think it's dumb to give coupons promising to do something that you should be doing anyway..I would feel kind of cheated if I got one.

Oct 20th 2008 3:13PM why didn't you mention the fact that the entire front and back pieces are made from sapphire crystal? Also no mention of the "unique hidden sliding battery cover mechanism"? Why not mention the good with the bad engadget?

Ed Hardy-ruined Palm Centro not available to general public, and that's okay {Engadget Mobile}

Sep 20th 2008 10:35AM usually I agree with your sense of style engadget, but I kind of like this one. I wouldn't use it daily though because I like my current phone more than the centro and I'd be afraid those little gems would come off in my pocket

Cricket offers EV-DO access for $40 per month... with no contract {Engadget Mobile}

Sep 13th 2008 2:32PM One other thing to note is that I also connect to EVDO and have ever since I got it (like 6 months), so that's not what makes this new plan any different

Cricket offers EV-DO access for $40 per month... with no contract {Engadget Mobile}

Sep 13th 2008 2:30PM I currently have their $45 a month unlimited plan with no contract and I love it. I'm in Tulsa, OK, BTW. Currently they have a 50GB/month cap, but I run torrents all the time and browse as if I had no limit and I've never gone over. Inside cricket's coverage area, I've had excellent reception. Plus the modem was only $120 before rebates. It's a hell of a deal, I don't know what's so different about this new plan, aside from the $5 decrease, and maybe removing the 50GB cap? Just don't go outside your calling area lol. Also you have to pay like $5 extra a month if you want to use it in a calling area other than your home region, but it works fine until I leave the state. We have a contract with t-mobile too, but this is just too sweet of a deal
