Microchip breakthrough could keep Moore's law intact (again) {Engadget}

Jul 11th 2008 12:32PM There are many ways to make simple grid structures that small, not really that impressive. Making logic patterns or interconnects that small is the problem.

GMC cutting next-gen Acadia and Lambda-based SUT? {Autoblog}

Jun 30th 2008 1:50PM The Acadia is definitely the one guys want to be seen in, while women probably prefer the Saturn and Buick. I also see more Acadias on the road in Texas.

No camera phones allowed! GM plant electrician fired for Camaro pics {Autoblog}

Jun 1st 2008 12:07PM Not letting other companies know what machinery you use is a competitive advantage that all auto companies cherish. I don't blame GM for firing the guy.

I can't believe all of you idiots that think the union should help get this guy's job back. The need for unions is long gone and a detriment to American businesses and thus economy.

Cost of vehicle maintenance is escalading {Autoblog}

May 29th 2008 6:43PM Escalading? Where did you go to school?

Sprint dropped 1.09 million subscribers in Q1 {Engadget}

May 12th 2008 11:17AM Not sure why everyone rags on Sprint. I think call quality and data service is the best out there. To qualify that statement, I use an ATT blackberry for work, and had TMobile a few years back and both GSM service had way more dropped calls and super-slow data connections using edge. My Samsung M610 is the best phone I've ever had.

Everyone thinks customer service is poor. Guess I'm one of the few that hasn't had to deal with CS since signing up. Nearly everything can be done the Sprint website.

Samsung no longer selling flat panels, other wares in Japan {Engadget}

Nov 9th 2007 9:32AM I guess you are scratching your head because you do not understand the relationship between Japan and Korea. Most Japanese people I know can't stand Korea, to put it nicely, for historical reasons.

$1.4 million IBM server falls off forklift, finger pointing ensues {Engadget}

Aug 29th 2007 8:58AM Why is this news? This kind of thing happens all the time. I work for a large semiconductor equipment supplier and we have had our crates dropped by the freight company, the airlines, and the customer's riggers. Our systems go for $1.5M to $6M. This is why they sell something called insurance! It's a pain to deal with, but the insurance companies will figure out who was at fault. We also place a small piece of equipment in the crate that records all major shocks from the time of departing our factory in Germany until the crate is opened at the final destination. The time stamp is critical for the insurance company figuring out who did the damage.

Prospectors beware: Nissan may void warranty on second GT-R owner {Autoblog}

Aug 22nd 2007 11:20AM I'm thinking that there are consumer protection laws that Nissan will need to break for this to happen.

House drops revised fuel economy standards {Autoblog}

Aug 2nd 2007 9:24AM Ah, the dems squirming out of following thru with promises. Is this really a surprise? Have they been able to pass anything of substantial importance since taking control of congress? Ok, maybe the minimum wage bill. But didn't they promise to do more in the first 100 days than any other congress? What a joke.
