Frozen orange juice: A childhood pastime {Slashfood}

Jun 20th 2008 7:11AM The title of this article should read 'pastime' not 'past time' (sic) which doesn't make sense.

Hellmann's UK to make mayo with free-range eggs {Slashfood}

Feb 14th 2008 11:13AM Despite the picture clearly showing the correct spelling of the name Hellmann's, it is spelt incorrectly throughout this article.

Things I wish I could ask my 8-day-old baby {ParentDish}

Feb 13th 2008 8:56PM My post was meant to be in reply to Cari (but somehow it didn't turn out that way), who made a post referring to the abuse of the apostrophe, but misspelt the word itself in her post (there is no double P).

Just found it amusing that somebody making a post about poor grammar would demonstrate poor spelling, and made a lighthearted comment about it.

Things I wish I could ask my 8-day-old baby {ParentDish}

Feb 13th 2008 5:40AM Perhaps your misspelling of "apostrophe" will cause you the same upset.

What happens on the web does NOT stay on the web {Download Squad}

Nov 28th 2007 4:51PM .... "fired for posting spoof messages on her website"

Some reports may state that, but the BBC has this quote from a London Underground spokeman, which makes it clear that her spoof announcements are not why she was fired:

"It's not because of the spoof announcements. It's because she has criticised the Underground system."

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/london/7113545.stm

The real reason is that LU believe that she criticised their service.

The Zenn of delivering the mail in Washington {Autoblog Green}

Nov 27th 2007 9:48AM "she may have to take a 20-30 minute brake later in the day"

Presumably the Zenn has regenerative braking, and she's recharging the motor .... or, more likely, you actually should have written BREAK instead of brake!

Happy National Carbonated Beverage with Caffeine Day! {Slashfood}

Nov 19th 2007 9:19AM "I'm not sure why this isn't just called National Soda Day"

For the completely obvious reason that not all sodas are caffeinated - 7-Up, for example.

A shotgun does not a lug wrench make - Darwin contestant {Autoblog}

Nov 16th 2007 12:30PM "M, it's not backward,"

... only it definitely is.

"that's how I intended to write it. It's a common way to structure a phrase. See above."

Your phrase is the reverse of those examples.

DAMurphy has shown you how it should be correctly stated.
