Feb 27th 2007 4:49PM yes, you can get "tv" on your smartphone with your slingbox...this is slightly different i think. higher resolution, better framerate, and its broadcast -- not unicast (read: no buffering). but yes, it's a trade off methinks. better quality on this service or more channels using a slingbox...
re Sprint USer: i totally agree with you that business men won't be interested in this and wouldn't give up a Treo for TV. but i think the teen/tween/18-35 group is a good target for this.
by FAR my favorite line, though: "Baby Boomers too busy on wine drinking trips" LOL. awesome.

Sep 22nd 2006 5:44AM Kind of odd there's no mention of the backend here: MediaFLO/Qualcomm. I saw their demo devices at spring CTIA (2006) -- great stuff. nice to see them getting some traction.

Jan 22nd 2006 4:08AM Bad idea. why have 3 separate channels if they're coming out of speakers that are all next to each other? in order to hear "stereo" from this setup, you'd have to sit about 2 feet from the screen...
