An Apple Store in Paris' Louvre pyramid {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}
Jun 5th 2008 12:27PM I disagree. Although it seems like a great location - the majority of the people there are just waiting to get in to the museum and the line is usually long and filled with tourist from all over the world who are cranky and fresh from the tubes.
Apple usually wants to be a destination in itself - not a time waster while you're waiting to do something else. Also, getting to it will be a nightmare and may not be worth fighting the tourist traffic.
I loved the Lourve - but not the experience of trying to get in - the experience that Apple seems to want to associate itself with.

I can't believe they didn't do the first store in Seattle, so maybe it was down during one of those times I tried (2pm)

Nov 30th 2006 12:38AM I wish my Cingular branded Nokia looked that good, it's a little beat up. Still, with all the new Nokias going QWERTY people have lusted over my last of the great US Nokias, 6682.
Didn't Cingular pull these Nokias after a SIM reader problem?
They are never getting mine :-)
