Hah! I was at the store on 5th Ave at 5:00 a.m.
Started the activation around 5:30 a.m. and am still waiting at 10:00 a.m.
I called the support number and was on hold for 45 minutes before a nice woman came on and told me that I'll have to wait possibly up to 6 hours or even up to 24.
I'm trying to port my number from Sprint. Only message I have received is the "AT&T is processing your activation" in email.
Bleagh.
Best Buy Mobile opens up shop in New York {Engadget Mobile}
Nov 28th 2006 11:21AM I was just at the Best Buy on Broadway by Houston and the Mobile Station is nice, but nothing special. It's just like they moved their kiosks from upstairs to downstairs where the DVDs used to be.
The two people there were nice, but one knew his stuff and the other didn't. The selection was lacking as well.
