The hundred gadget giveaway, grand prize round: unlocked iPhone (4GB) {Engadget Mobile}

Sep 15th 2007 3:13AM Pretty please, pretty, pretty please?

An S60-less Nokia Eseries in the works? {Engadget Mobile}

Sep 4th 2007 4:46PM Of course, the S60 key could just be on the phone's side? Or yes, it could just be a big fake.

Nokia teams up with an unfaithful YouTube for Nseries vids {Engadget Mobile}

Feb 12th 2007 4:43PM Yup, doesn't look like the various components are in place yet. Might also be a few Vodafone lawyers to fend off?

The Boy Genius Report: Nokia N92 Unboxing {Engadget Mobile}

Jan 18th 2007 2:56PM Eeek..... what's the point of snaffling a digital TV device that err..... doesn't work in your area? The N92 is only being released in specific markets where there's tie-in with DVB-H transmitters. 8-)

Hands-on with the Nokia N93 {Engadget Mobile}

Dec 3rd 2006 3:08AM Oh, come on, how can you 'review' the N93 without actually talking about the video quality (VGA, 30 fps, etc.), which is the whole POINT of the device. And the second POINT is the landscape/laptop mode, which you don't even mention, with TV-OUT etc.

Can I humbly recommend my own look at TV-out use-gallery - http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/features/item/The_desktopgames_consolemusic_source_in_your_pocket-starring_the_Nokia_N93.php for anyone interested in seeing what the N93 can really do.....

European gamers enjoying DS browser {DS Fanboy}

Nov 30th 2006 7:12AM Sorry, guys, I missed the 'l' off the end of my hyperlink - mods, can you edit it for me and remove this comment? The link to my review *should* be

European gamers enjoying DS browser {DS Fanboy}

Nov 30th 2006 7:04AM Adding one more voice to the general opinion. It's slow and limited and VERY fussy about Wi-Fi encryption, although it's a pretty decent piece of programming to be able to surf on a DS at all.

I've done a review here http://3lib.ukonline.co.uk/dslite/opera.htm if anyone's interested.

Arithmetic trainer for the mathematically challenged {DS Fanboy}

Nov 30th 2006 6:23AM 100% agreed. More educational software please - it'll be easier to sit my daughter down with her Nintendo than with her exercise book!!!

Spansion announces plans for increased handset security {Engadget Mobile}

Jun 20th 2006 3:05AM Another complete-waste-of-time security solution for a problem that doesn't exist. Next gen phone OSes like Symbian OS 9 (used for all new Nokia smartphones this year, for example) are completely immune to malware, with unsigned apps unable to do anything 'dangerous'.

Nokia: We don't sell phones here {Engadget Mobile}

May 15th 2006 1:50PM I suspect he was misquoted. He was referring to how Nokia refer to their main Nseries smartphone line, i.e. in their division.

All Eseries devices and other S60 devices are 'smartphones' and the rest are 'phones', of course.
