AT&T rolling out MMS to iPhone on September 25, tethering 'in the future' {Engadget Mobile}
Sep 7th 2009 12:56AM @Tor Slettness: Data is mandatory on all of AT&T's PDA-type phones now. Verizon is the same way. I'm not sure about Sprint or T-Mo.

Sep 7th 2009 12:51AM There are TONS of free apps for the iPhone. Every phone costs money to use and operate; the iPhone is no exception, and it doesn't cost any more than any other PDA-type phone so I'm not sure why you're saying "Everywhere you turn around you are being charged for one thing or another." A WinMo phone's monthly bill would cost the same as an iPhone.

Apr 18th 2009 2:58PM The web browser is the standard MEdia Net browser with a few extra functions like full screen mode. For example, Mobile Facebook (m.facebook.com) works great; however, regular Facebook (www.facebook.com) doesn't work because the browser doesn't support the javascript necessary to make the site run. It's not as good as the iPhone's browser to be sure, but it's good for only $10/mth.

Apr 8th 2009 2:48AM I don't even have DirecTV and I downloaded the app just in case I get DirecTV one day but by that time they start charging for the app. :)
