LaCie's new LCDs put NTSC to shame {Engadget}
Sep 10th 2008 10:31AM Can someone explain how you can represent more than 100% of the NTSC gamut, let alone 100% of anything? Did I miss something when my teacher said "you can't put in more than 100%" or have I just been underachieving my entire life?
Sony Ericsson TM506, T-Mobile's first HSDPA handset, goes live {Engadget}
Sep 5th 2008 6:23PM Wow. T-mobile has 3G. What's the next thing you're going to tell me? That the Meizu M8 is coming out for it next? And it plays Duke Nukem Forever??! Sweeeet!

Sep 5th 2008 2:11PM If I wanted something that small, I wouldve gotten the G1 eeepc. the keys are way too small to be useful for touch typing. my aspire one is big enough but just barely.
i would totally get this if they had a larger keyboard. butterfly style perhaps? I miss the ones from IBM, they were like transforming keyboards. why did they go out of style? they were brilliant.

Sep 5th 2008 1:59PM You can't get somethin' for nothin'.....
Even if something's "free" you still lose your innocence. Just like when I was 10 and the man in a black mask in the unmarked van said "Hey little boy, do you want some FREE candy?"....
Acer Aspire One's 6-cell is a whole lot cheaper bundled {Engadget}
Sep 5th 2008 12:18PM yeah I'm bitter that I bought the 3 cell, 120gb version a week before the price drop and now this. but for those that are waiting 5 weeks for it, i've got mine now so nannynannybooboo.
and I'll prolly get the 6 cell separately for $110....or find a 3rd party....or just use the external ac battery pack i have in the meantime....

IOGEAR's AA-powered GearJuice gives you 15 more minutes to yap {Engadget}
May 28th 2008 11:34AM 15 minutes? As a high expectation? Wow. I think I'd rather invest in a crank-powered model, since this dongle is a bit large to hang off my keychain anyway.
EarthLED EvoLux R LED light bulb lets you choose your lumens {Engadget}
May 22nd 2008 4:30PM Why would you need to dim a bulb that's already dim and uses only 13-watts? Sounds like another thing that can malfunction on it. LED bulbs in general are definitely the way to go though in terms of the enviroment, and longevity.
I found a bulb that actually looks similar to a regular bulb at this site
http://www.eternaleds.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=HP%2DGLOBE+5
and it turned out to work pretty well. Most LED bulbs have a smaller angle, so they work like spotlights, but this one actually lights up my desk pretty well. I want to try the higher powered ones, but looks like they're sold out for now...

Apr 10th 2008 11:42AM Really? I thought the day would never come. Put the nail in the coffin and move on. Palm really needs to steal some Apple designers or *something*.....
