Sep 29th 2008 5:20PM Again you are looking at a US Market, when VW sold of Verizon Wireless Latin America, the buyer (Tele Mexico) decided to convert it all to GSM, and while the conversion is not yet complete in most of the 12 countries it's well under way.

We all know ATT is the biggest reseller of BB devices in the world, it only makes sense that RIM would not be too far behind with the same unit for ATT, just wondering when it will come out for ATT after the holidays?
It says three types of keyboards but we only see 2, hmmmm. I wonder....

Aug 5th 2008 9:36AM For the European and Asian members, FYI, it's common practice in the USA for carriers to lock a phone to their network for an amount of time. When the original Razr was launched in the USA it was locked to Verizon and it was a long time before it was launched on with other vendors. What happened was that people would travel to the Europe pick one unlocked and come back to the USA and use it on ATT or T-Mobile.
So now you have the Verizon users complaining cause they want it but can't have it. Even if you picked up an unlock iPhone in Europe there are only two companies in the USA that can run it ATT and T-Mobile, what the Verizon users want is a CDMA version.

I have a BB Curve and the new 3G iPhone, and guess what my iPhone has better reception then my BB Curve. Hey sorry had to duck from the flying brick from the BB community.
Overall the phone is sweet, I have a better reception at home then I do with the Curve, 3G is spotty, but hey switch to EDGE and off I go and at home WiFi. I must say probably one of the best phones I have owned.
