iPhone to become subsidized, non-exclusive? {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}
May 5th 2008 10:13PM I seriously might buy an iPhone if I could get it unlocked direct from Apple. Here's hoping that happens!

Apr 11th 2008 10:48AM I could definitely use this. I'd use it every day!
Engadget gets a new look and adds Switched to the family! {Engadget}
Apr 10th 2008 4:24PM I like the new look a lot, actually! Quite a bit cleaner, good job! But Switched just adds another RSS feed that I now have to subscribe to. :-)
Google Talk Labs edition released, adds group chat and more {Download Squad}
Apr 5th 2008 4:54PM I love Google Talk and I use it daily, but I think this is the biggest problem with their service. There are so many feature differences between the various versions of the program...it makes it a bit hard to use sometimes. They really need to unify the versions. :-/

Nokia's new N-Gage gaming service goes live {Engadget}

Vivitar's pocket-friendly DVR565HD camcorder does high-definition {Engadget}
Mar 28th 2008 7:56PM I currently have a little Aiptek pocket flash camcorder that does 720p (only $119, too). While the quality certainly isn't up to bar with prosumer HD rigs, it's certainly good enough for every day use. And it fits in my pocket, I carry it around everywhere. Plus, it can accept anything up to a 32gb SDHC card and even allows video in recording from other cameras. Pretty nifty. :-)

Retire your computer the right way {DIY Life}
Mar 27th 2008 12:18PM Hey, don't necessarily take it to a collection event, either. There are guys like me that are always looking for old laptops for projects, etc. that will gladly take it off your hands. Old laptops on craigslist or freecycle are always taken within a day.
