GM's Wagoner heading to Congress in Malibu Hybrid {Autoblog}

Dec 2nd 2008 2:19PM I wonder if they'll expense the tolls on the Ohio and Penn Turnpikes?

Better watch out for those Ohio State Patrol Troopers!

Ford releases pricing for all five 2010 Fusion models {Autoblog}

Nov 21st 2008 11:50PM Wow, what insight.... That explains all the G8s I see on the street, and hardly any Fusions.... Oh wait, I guess its the other way around...

Don't worry about sticker price, nobody will pay it. The '09 already has $2k on the hood. Get the dealer to find you an X plan PIN, and the '09 S starts at just over $16k. Expect the same on the '10.

Hyundai: Newest Chrysler suitor? {Autoblog}

Nov 7th 2008 10:09PM The UAW doesn't know how to actually run a business. The last major employee purchase of a major corporation was United Airlines. That ended in bankruptcy after the unions plundered the company. The Jeep brand will be sold off to someone. The rest of Chrysler will likely fail to attract any buyers, and wind up on the ash heap of history.

Hyundai: Newest Chrysler suitor? {Autoblog}

Nov 7th 2008 10:04PM There is no Chrysler stock. Chrysler is privately held.

Chevy Volt program is not being delayed ... yet! {Autoblog}

Nov 7th 2008 12:37PM There isn't going to be a market for the Volt,it's WAAAAAAAY overpriced. Who will pay $40k when a Pious (uh, Prius) can be had for half? Lutz should cut his losses. no more bailouts!

Chrysler adds content, efficiency and cuts price on Avenger, Sebring and 300 {Autoblog}

Nov 3rd 2008 9:54PM Well, if you add the standard $2500 rebate in, you might be able to pick up Sebring for under $20k. Well under $25k for the 300 Touring, which is a good value. It's a shame that these may be Chrysler's last gasps......

Department of Justice approves Verizon's Alltel acquisition, requires more concessions {Engadget Mobile}

Nov 1st 2008 12:19AM Not true Mark.....

Back when I had Verizon, there were parts of SE Michigan that I got "Extended Area" on my phone. Blissfield, MI (Lenawee County) is one area that comes to mind.....

Chrysler closing Newark plant early, cutting shift in Toledo {Autoblog}

Oct 23rd 2008 12:25PM Ouch... Merry Christmas... Our lease on my wife's Commander comes due next month. It'll be replaced by something non-Chrysler. We were already looking away because everything Chrysler builds is soooo damn thirsty. Getting out of the leasing game was icing on the cake. They've thrown every possible incentive at me, but there's really nothing that I want to see in my driveway.

AT&T's Samsung Epix now epically official {Engadget Mobile}

Oct 21st 2008 10:18PM Let's hope is has something besides Xpress Mail to handle e-mail. I'm eligible to upgrade, and I can tell you that I'm headed back to a Blackberry simply because ATT sticks that crappy Xpress Mail on so many non-BB devices. ATT knows it, but blames the frequent failures on the 3rd party vendor they by Xpress Mail from.

New Dodge Charger, Chrysler 300 confirmed for 2010 {Autoblog}

Oct 7th 2008 2:47PM Chrysler needs to produce smaller cars? Perhaps, but what really needs to be done is they need to find a way to build more efficient large cars, which is what the American consumer wants. I'm not interested in a long drive in a Honda Fit. Chrysler need to invest in the technology to improve fuel efficiency. New engines, new transmissions, and find way to take weight out of the cars. That's what the consumer wants. Not to be forced into small cars that don't do the job they want.
