Don't worry about sticker price, nobody will pay it. The '09 already has $2k on the hood. Get the dealer to find you an X plan PIN, and the '09 S starts at just over $16k. Expect the same on the '10.

Nov 7th 2008 10:09PM The UAW doesn't know how to actually run a business. The last major employee purchase of a major corporation was United Airlines. That ended in bankruptcy after the unions plundered the company. The Jeep brand will be sold off to someone. The rest of Chrysler will likely fail to attract any buyers, and wind up on the ash heap of history.

We were already looking away because everything Chrysler builds is soooo damn thirsty. Getting out of the leasing game was icing on the cake. They've thrown every possible incentive at me, but there's really nothing that I want to see in my driveway.

I'm eligible to upgrade, and I can tell you that I'm headed back to a Blackberry simply because ATT sticks that crappy Xpress Mail on so many non-BB devices. ATT knows it, but blames the frequent failures on the 3rd party vendor they by Xpress Mail from.

Perhaps, but what really needs to be done is they need to find a way to build more efficient large cars, which is what the American consumer wants. I'm not interested in a long drive in a Honda Fit. Chrysler need to invest in the technology to improve fuel efficiency. New engines, new transmissions, and find way to take weight out of the cars. That's what the consumer wants. Not to be forced into small cars that don't do the job they want.
