REPORT: Consumers increasingly shying away from small cars; owners unhappy {Autoblog}

Oct 6th 2009 8:43PM As someone who moved from an SUV to a compact sedan I do miss the comfort (space) and the power. The mileage however is very different. Good thing I do not usually haul a lot of stuff.

Lincoln MKS EcoBoost earns second place in 6versus8.com showdown, should we care? {Autoblog}

Oct 5th 2009 5:54PM This is good news. If I had the money it would be a tough call. All of these cars seem to be excellent cars. Hopefully this was a really fair competition. It proves the American companies are trying hard.

Sep 2nd 2009 4:29PM I can say that in our PowerMac and our MacBook it seems faster. It seems much faster on the PowerMac where applications spring to life faster and functionality also seems faster.

Transportation Secretary LaHood calls for September 'distracted driving' summit? {Autoblog}

Aug 6th 2009 10:24AM I agree Erik. This power grab by the federal government needs to stop. I am not against these laws but as you stated it is a local matter. Lutz: Chevy Orlando coming, could get Voltec powertrain {Autoblog}

Aug 3rd 2009 10:25PM Excellent move. Make mine with the 2.4 liter engine and the six-speed auto. Or better the 2.0 liter turbo with the six-speed engine. :-)

Alfa Romeo MiTo too small for the U.S.? {Autoblog}

Jul 27th 2009 3:29PM The CEO may have a point. Given the best sellers in the US are not small cars but rather mid-sized cars it may be difficult to justify the expenditure of making the vehicle adapted to US standards. Bear in mind that he did not rule out ever having it in the US. The operative word being current US market. When things change then it could be a viable option.
