Wienermobile downsized to a MINI Cooper [w/VIDEO] {Autoblog}

Mar 18th 2008 9:02AM Yikes ... the "American" original using a Mini Cooper? It would be more fitting if it were a 'brat.' (bratwurst)

Diesel VW Jetta Sportwagen a real fuel-sipper {Autoblog}

May 8th 2007 4:04PM I will be shocked it the EPA sticker (revised or not) comes back with 60MPG Highway on it. I won't be surprise when drivers squeak 60 MPGs out, but it won't be the norm. My current A4 Jetta is smaller and has the 1.9 TDI and has rarely turn in over 50MPG. Lifetime average is 45 MPG ... 70% highway.

Mar 1st 2007 1:34PM You've proceeded to gross out my lunch: "-- you dig around in there while watching TV, taking a bath, or sitting in a meeting --" Ugh!

Jan 29th 2007 8:14PM Perhaps the batteries themselves emit gases when they charge and discharge? Pretty minor, but nevertheless I would want to be a closed room the bubbling from batteries going on.

Diesel pickup that runs on peanut oil has 200mph aspirations {Autoblog Green}

Nov 2nd 2006 12:47PM The comment "The V6 engine must run on regular diesel fuel to reach 220-degree operating temperature before switching over to peanut oil" isn't exactly true ... they could use biodiesel. ;-)

Sprint's EV-DO Rev. A rollout to begin in Q4 {Engadget Mobile}

Aug 3rd 2006 10:23PM I find this great news as the current speed is not appropriate for the kinds of downloads we are starting to see. Larger software, bigger megapixel photos, audio/video streaming and podcast downloads. I've also found that more and more people are attaching larger files to email ... faster speed will certainly help. BUT ... I'm still disappointed with the upload speeds ... see: http://blog.myarchive.us/?p=406
(BTW ... did I mention 'tethering?')

Regarding the Engadget Podcast {Engadget}

Jul 12th 2006 1:26PM I do miss the podcast, but being summer have missed a bunch of my regular listening too. You guys deserve a break ... BUT I'm anxious for another podcast. Keep up the great site, podcasts and communication with your readers/listeners.
