May 29th 2007 12:13AM Hmm...thats weird becuase i think the Windows people are the least technically savvy people that are annoyingly arrogant and defensive..they think their windows computers are the best computers, and cheaper then macintosh. But go build a dell (the least expensive of any computers, just about) with comparable specs to the models apple offers, and there isnt a big price gap at all. They act as if people who own macs payed the most amount of money for a pretty computer.
Just consider this. You can get a comparable dell or a macintosh for about the same price. But the macintosh would be a better deal because you dont have to worry about viruses, and you get a ton of extra software built in with a macintosh.
Alltel subject of possible bidding war {Engadget Mobile}
Jan 5th 2007 3:59PM Personally I dont want to see either carrier pick Alltel up. Sprint although would be better then Verizon but they are in so much debt. Verizon disables their phones, has the stupid interface and makes you pay for anything you do on your phone, which I think is non-sense.
Alltel is to big now and i dont think they would let Verizon buy them out because they are doing very well.

HTC Cavalier does battle with Samsung's i600 {Engadget Mobile}

The i600 is was announced as quadband gsm. So looks like the Blackjack but is way more powerful.
I dont understand how the Cavalier would come out ahead. I mean both the i600 and Cavalier have the same features (quadband, 3g, wifi), the only thing the cavalier has is a 2mp camera. But the i600 has a 416mhz processor compared to the Cavalier's 300mhz which is hardly faster then the current on the Blackjack and Dash right now....
Zune stacks up in size: iPods, Zen, Sansa {Engadget}
Nov 6th 2006 12:41AM The Zune is going to suck. Microsoft is not doing anything special with this. They are trying to hard to acieve something they never will. Ipod is a far better then the Zune and will always be.
I mean the only 2 things the Zune has over the ipod is Wifi(which is really useless at this point, it really does nothing), and a bigger screen. Woopdy Doo, .5 inchs in a HUGE difference.
Wait til the touchscreen/wirless ipod comes out later this year/early next yet. That will blow the Zune way out of the water.
First off I read a article by a financial anaysyst, and he said the Zune was this years BIGGEST flop, and Steve Jobs said he wasnt at ALL threatened by the Zune.
I dont know why there is so much hype/publicity surrounding the Zune, this is just another "I want to be an ipod" Mp3 players, and I dont see that happenening ANYTIME soon.
