May 9th 2007 9:32AM To #5, you can do that. That's exactly how i have mine set up. Just tell the ps3 in the settings to output over optical (or whatever the exact setting says) for audio, and HDMI for video. I've heard people say this before, why is there this misconception? It's not hard to decipher in the settings.

Apr 28th 2007 11:20PM I'm a Virginia Tech alumnus. I feel showing that photo is in poor taste, no matter what the context of the article is in. I have issues with seeing him anywhere in the media at this point in time, and I feel there are far better photographs that could've been used to illustrate the context of this article. VT's own website has great photographs of memorials, students in vigils, or even generic shots of campus that would've made the same point come across.
I come to joystiq to read about my hobby, which I partake in to get my mind off the stresses in life. This is the last place I'd want to see that photo.
