Nov 3rd 2006 2:51PM The reason folks gripe about the Verizon UI is that it's not easy to use. It is better for Verizon, because the UI is consistent throughout all handsets, making their customer rep jobs easy and efficient.

However, a great UI design has aspects that can be appreciated. It's simplicity to use, makes it pleasurable to use. That's why some people like Apple and Google: they pay attention to UI design.

After some point, even common folks will blame the UI design, and not themselves, if they can't figure out pair their bluetooth headset with their phone.
