Lutz defends "crock of sh*t" comment about global warming {Autoblog}

Feb 22nd 2008 10:44PM Get over it you effing hippies. Point of fact is that global warming is still debatable whether you like it or not. Depends who you talk to you. The thing that is not debatable whatsoever is the fact that we are dependent on foreign oil like a crack addicts. I can't wait for the day when we can tell the middle east to go eff themselves silly. Maybe they can export sand or magic carpets. Too bad they'll still want to kill us anyway.

How old is old enough to play games? {Joystiq}

Jan 29th 2008 1:39AM Does this mean I shouldn't let my 3 year old play COD4? But he's so good at it. I get a kick out of it when he calls for an airstrike and picks out on the map where the other team is.

Apple, AT&T served with class action suit over iPhone locking practices {Engadget Mobile}

Oct 10th 2007 6:01PM I don't suffer from Apple induced Stockholm's syndrome. The argument goes like this. If you buy a new car and you install turbo then wind up blowing up your engine, it's not the dealer's responsibility. That's 100% correct. However, if your car is working fine with the turbo in it and you take your car in for routine service (like an oil change) - your dealer then sees the turbo and takes action to f up your engine so it's not functional anymore... this would be called illegal.

HD DVD player flies off digital shelves [update 1] {Joystiq Xbox}

Nov 3rd 2006 1:06PM I have the WESTINGHOUSE 42" 1080p Monitor, after the recent firmware update I switched the 360 to output 1080p - then I checked my monitor's info screen and indeed it said 1920*1080. My monitor has a vga input. But contrast that with my Tosh HDDVD player that only outputs 1080i.. my westy says the resolution is only 1920*540 and that thing cost me over $500. So if you have a 360 already and a 1080p monitor with vga input, this would seem the way to go. Plus its USB.. this thing will sooner or later have windows drivers for people connecting it to their pc's.
