Top 10 most and least expensive cars to insure {Autoblog}

Feb 19th 2007 1:40PM "I hate [car] insurence with a passion."

--I'm guessing you live in New Jersey!

"Remember, insurance companies are in the business to make money, not be charitable."

--And when almost all states **REQUIRE** you to have auto insurance in order to own and operate a vehicle, shouldn't it be regulated by the government to some extent? It's like the government saying "hey, if you wanna drive, you betta pay them whatever they want. Or else...!" This is extortion at it's finest!

Goodbye LG Chocolate, hello Shine! {Engadget Mobile}

Oct 18th 2006 2:18PM Pardon my ignorance, but this is the first non-feminine slider phone I've seen. I like!

Deju vu: consumers buying low-priced, quality, Korean cars in Japan {Autoblog}

Aug 27th 2006 10:03AM The only way for Korean manufacturers to seriously start selling in Japan, is if brands like Hyundai and Kia become wildly popular and TRENDY here in the US and Europe. The highly fashion conscious Japanese (read: label whores) and their "me too" haut couture mindset is mainly based on former US and European fads.

Why else would the H2 currently be selling like hot cakes in Tokyo?! http://www.autoweek.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20060814/FREE/60803009/1004/THISWEEKSISSUE "...that is sooooooo 2003!"

Sprint's EV-DO Rev. A rollout to begin in Q4 {Engadget Mobile}

Aug 3rd 2006 1:54PM I have a feeling that the unbelievably low $15 per month Unlimited Power Vision will be a thing of the past after this rolls out.

Motorola quietly announces CDMA SLVR L7c {Engadget Mobile}

Jul 26th 2006 4:53AM It's well known that Verizon seems to always snatch up the exclusivity deals over Sprint when it comes to phones on CDMA.

The SLVR would compliment VZW's line-up, displayed next to the Q.

Effects of higher U.S. gas prices spreading {Autoblog}

Jul 26th 2006 1:07AM The new FJ Cruiser looks to be Toyota's answer to the Honda Element, as if to say "we'll show you how to make a truly hideous looking SUV!"

Makes Pontiac Azteks look charming.

Spy Shots: 2008 Nissan Sentra SE-R {Autoblog}

Jul 19th 2006 12:25PM #3: Do you also find seriously heavy torque steer fun in your '02 Spec-V? That was one of the deciding factors on why I passed on the SE-R, that and the rather shabby interior.

But I always liked the SE-R, especially since it comes in two versions--the base model offering an automatic, which is good for those of us who deal with city traffic.

BMW 3-Series Coupe pricing for U.S. revealed {Autoblog}

Jul 6th 2006 5:54PM I won't argue that the 3-series coupes aren't worth every penny, but I'm not too fond of the price increases. Since the 3-series is the "benchmark" in sports sedans, the higher price tag should have a trickled-down effect on all its various competitors (Audi's, Benz's, Infiniti's, Lexus's, etc.) as well.

Ah, but that's economics for ya'!

"Talladega Nights" brings NASCAR to the big screen {Autoblog}

Jul 1st 2006 4:23PM This movie looks more like an actual documentary than a comedy. Such an accurate portrayal of the motorsport, it's drivers, and it's fanbase. I'm predicting an Oscar award to Will Ferrell for this movie.

Skip school and lose your driver's license {Autoblog}

Jun 27th 2006 4:07PM So the government has now taken upon itself to ground our kids. This seems highly absurd. But why stop there?! Why not also take away their beloved videogames, computers, and televisions for playing hooky while we're at it!

I see no real correlation between skipping class and driving, so punishing one action by restricting/denying the other seems quite inane.
