Nokia mentions N82 8GB, US N95 8GB: typo or totally inevitable? {Engadget Mobile}
Dec 24th 2007 10:55AM Is the HSDPA 2100 or 850/1900? If its the former, it's the non-NA version with NA warranty, which Nokia chose to do to cash in, even though you won't be able to use HSDPA in NA. If it's the latter, that's weird.

Dec 23rd 2007 4:49PM The 8GB devices are not such a big deal now that 8GB microSD is available. 16GB is the new 8GB.
What would be (good) news is a v20 update for n95-3.
Nokia N82 hands-on {Engadget Mobile}
Dec 21st 2007 9:33AM From the many reviews I've read and sample images, the N82 is the best - best colour, best low light, best use of Xenon flash, and the best video capture mode. The only drawback is the compression is more aggressive, which means edges can be soft and details lost, and Nokia doesn't provide a way to choose compression levels. Maybe they will in an update, they seem pretty good at updating lines (at least until they're "obsolete").
Nokia N82 hands-on {Engadget Mobile}
Dec 21st 2007 9:25AM @Al,
Actually the $10 for $12 mb plan from Fido makes it worthwhile (barely).
The thing that is the real killer here is lack of a touchscreen.. I can't imagine using a mapping app without one. What do you do, move around with the direction keys? Do you making driving sounds too? Mmmrrrmmmm..... Mrmrrrmmm... Mrrmmmmm.. Mrrrummrmrrmmmrrmrm.... maybe they could combine it with an ngage game.

Oct 26th 2006 1:10PM Rod, lots of people use camera phones for memory jogs like contact and white board photos, and these uses will grow if decent capabilities are present. Outside of these "business" uses, I see lots of people using camera phones all the time and I think it's great. Sorry you find it so negative.
