How would you change LG's Vu? {Engadget}
May 30th 2008 7:38PM I own an iPhone and review phones for (part of) my living. Vu's really nice. Not as nice as iPhone, but honestly really pretty nice. I'd never actually pay for the mobile TV service, but it works well (if a little pixelated sometimes). As far as sleek, all-touch, not-an-i-phones go, Vu's right up there with the best of 'em, I think. One thing LG does well, IMO, is make clear, easy to use, attractive phone UIs. Vu's pretty straightforward in that regard, and in a good way.

May 29th 2008 4:23PM Soulb? Seriously? Huh.
Shoulda called it SoulJa, instead.

Blackberry Bold release dates, pricing leak out {Engadget Mobile}
May 16th 2008 11:02PM It actually had said no earlier ... now it's blank. Hopefully a good sign. H@H is a nice feature, esp. if you're on TMob contract but get lousy reception where you live/work.

May 16th 2008 2:02PM Looks like the chart says UMA: No for the TMob version, which would mean No to H@H. Which would suXXors.
Samsung Glyde review roundup {Engadget}
May 10th 2008 1:23PM My take after review it, FWIW: Think of Glyde more as a fashion messaging phone than an iPhone/Voyager competitor.
It's a little thick, but really small and light. Keyboard is great. Touchscreen is definitely wonky but seemed to get better (I got used to it?) the more I used it. Web browser is good but screen is too small (only 240 px tall in landscape mode) for much heavy surfing.
Main draw is how small and light it is - way smaller and lighter than an iPhone, if much thicker.
