iPod touch firmware 2.0 hits the internet... again {Engadget}
Jul 12th 2008 1:56AM So here's my touch story:
First I installed the last beta built on my touch (5A345), then I opened the ipsw and changed the plist inside it to say the build id was the final (5A347). Tried to restore using the modified ipsw, and apparently bricked my touch. Connected it to iTunes, it offered to restore it. And now it's downloading what seems to be the final (5A347).
Fun times.
