Palm "Gandolf" images look legit, Windows Mobile version on the way as well {Engadget Mobile}

Jun 10th 2007 2:41PM Uhh, you're wrong. Windows Mobile 5 Smartphone edition is non-touchscreen. Windows Mobile 5 Pocket PC Phone edition is what the Treo 700 and 750 run.

HTC's Touch with TouchFLO -- the Elf with new 3D sweep interface {Engadget}

Jun 5th 2007 11:52AM I am a proud user of WM 6 on an HTC device (T-Mobile Dash), so keep that in mind before I get slammed for this comment: This looks like a real idiotic, half-assed attempt to counter what looks like Apple's superior UI on the iPhone. Typical Microsoft: they think just putting some pretty pictures on top of Windows will make it a whole new thing worthy of a big announcement. Windows Mobile is still Windows Mobile no matter what UI you put on it. It's a good mobile OS that is functional and surprisingly stable, but Microsoft just doesn't have any style.

Dec 11th 2006 8:39PM It is fair when you consider that Cingular does not have HSDPA or UMTS in the nation's second biggest metropolitan center: Los Angeles, and has stated that it will not have HSDPA there for "some time." F Cingular with THEIR deceptive advertising about a "nationwide" broadband network. T-Mobile will probably be the first GSM 3G in L.A.

Dec 1st 2006 10:07PM "the stipulations could be far reaching"

Do you even know what you are talking about? The "stipulations" could be far reaching???? And it's "lower COURT cases"; not "lower cases" -- that refers to a letter. Cue Engadget/AOL editors to delete this comments as they usually do when you point out an actual error in their post.

Has your Zune gotten social yet? {Engadget}

Nov 14th 2006 5:08PM Another Microsoft troll. Are you testing marketing slogans? "I want to be something bigger than I" --- sounds like something some marketing firm came up with for MS after getting paid a cool 100K or so.

Treo 680 headed to Cingular {Engadget}

Oct 21st 2006 1:28PM Uh Ryan? We know damn well that the 680 uses SD; not mini-SD. You are thinking of the 750. Sorry buddy.

Oct 12th 2006 12:41PM No cable card. Just normal digital cable with Moxi DVR (which isn't bad, actually).
