For the features it packs, I don't believe $299.00 is beyond reasonable. Considering that it is NOT designed to be a phone (I'm talking to you, iPhone users), it seems to offer quite a bit of functionality. Yes, you have to carry it around with something that has a cellular radio in it, but this is not designed to REPLACE your phone; it’s a supplement to it. For those who travel often and don't need a full laptop/netbook/whatever else people consider it is a bargain. Movie watching? Expandability via slot? Generous amount of usable screen real estate? Slim form factor? Keyboard? Yep, for that price I could even consider getting one for myself.
