Nokia E72 prototype gets manhandled, torn asunder {Engadget}

Jun 20th 2009 4:35AM The comment that I was replying to was deleted (making mine horribly out of context).

The parent comment said something to the effect that S60 and Nokia are only for European men that like sucking face with other men, which I had to point out was not the case

Jun 20th 2009 4:00AM Have you held an E71? It's got a pretty perfect weight (some may say it is a bit on the heavy side). I haven't read anything about the E72's weight

Jun 20th 2009 3:23AM It looks like the comment I replied to was deleted- whatever, probably a good thing.

I have an N82-1 (in the States) and will hopefully be picking up an N86 8MP in a few months.

I had an iPhone for quite awhile and got the N82 when mine was stolen and honestly, I did not like the N82 at all when I first got it, even though it was functionally superior to the iPhone.

After awhile, I got used to S60 and am totally in love with it. It may not be very pretty (though I am really digging the new icons and UI improvements that they've been making with FP2 and S60v5) but I really like its unique quirks and it can do pretty much anything under the sun.

I don't know, I guess I'm a Nokia / S60 fanboy

You should give the E71 some more face time- I have a friend who has one (though he'll have an N97 soon) and it is an amazing phone (though the E Series UI is different from the N Series UI)

Jun 20th 2009 2:03AM You'll certainly get backlashes for making a ridiculous comment about the world's dominant smartphone platform, but most of them will be for making homophobic comments like yours.

For the record, I'm a straight American who uses S60.

I also concede that they could stand to update the UI, but the OS is much more functional than Android, WinMo, and OS X mobile

Software Updates: And the hits keep coming, Bluetooth Firmware Update {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Jun 17th 2009 9:35PM You're talking about BT in OS X, right? Because I've been able to sync my phone with OS X via Bluetooth since at least 10.4, whether it be Moto (ugh), SonyEricsson (yeah!), or Nokia (YEAH!)

I think you're thinking of OS 3.0

Is the Mac OS X 10.5.7 update causing you grief? {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Jun 11th 2009 4:50PM My fans have been going crazy on my Santa Rosa MBP ever since the new firmware and 10.5.7
