RIM allows Indian government to monitor Blackberry network {Engadget}
May 23rd 2008 7:08AM while I'm not surprised RIM backed down and gave them access, they were one of the last strongholds that said NO! to government monitoring. It just would have been nice if RIM made an example out of India by giving up Indian profits (pulling Blackberry coverage from india) in order to keep an almost flawless security system for the people that are actually paying them the most, its non-government customers . . . lets stand up for what's right once in awhile people, not just more money . . .a truly sad day my friends . . .
LG's VX9900 caught in the wild? {Engadget Mobile}
Oct 6th 2006 2:14PM not everyone likes glossy . . . but dont dwell on that too much gk. I currently work for verizon in Ct. and I hate the chocolate, cause EVERY SCRATCH SHOWS ! ! ! Unless you know ppl that never ever drop their phone or keep change or pens or keys in their pocket, the design looks perfect w/o the glossy. LG has made alot of phones that are reliable and functional without the most cutting edge look (ie: 6000, 7000, 8100: all of which I own'd) and not just pretty looking (ie: 710, 815, v325, RAZR, all of which i also own'd and returned with in a week due to Motorola not knowing how to wright softwear to save their life!) so ya i guess looks are the most important thing, ya?
