May 26th 2007 8:34PM The "M" is probably a CDMA version of the MOTORIZR Z8, considering that Verizon is targeting the iPhone, a multimedia phone, and Ed Zander himself proclaimed it as a "Media Monster". So, LG's Prada phone will cover the iPhones "style" aspect and the Z8 from Motorola will cover the "Media Monster" aspect of the iPhone. Too bad they can't put them together ;) .

Aug 29th 2006 8:13PM To Engadget: After looking at the FCC reports, I see the phone is 900/1800/1900 with 2100 UMTS. You guys saw 1900 GSM and mistaked it for 1900 UMTS. GSM 1900 is the only band shown in the report because it is the only band on the device used in the US which is all the FCC cares about, not overseas bands.

Aug 3rd 2006 12:10PM Why would Engadget even post something so stupid? It's like a photoshopped shuffle, microwave, and Sony Ericsson white T637. I have seen much bette iPhone mock-ups. Engadget could at least tell us the source.

Jun 27th 2006 1:12PM Why would UMTS be put into the Lennon and not the Nitro?? It sounds like "Nitro" would have HSDPA because it's "Nitro" fast. I suppose it is possible this is old information, and the phone has been upgraded to HSDPA, or that they are not mentioning the HSDPA part. Most people would choose the Lennon because of the faster data, unless the Nito is low-end and is priced significantly different.

Jun 19th 2006 10:04PM Let me guess, is NPD a northern based company? Seriously, will Yankees or whoever is complaining get over the fact that the people liked a southern dude better than Katharine. You know, people can also use a normal phone to vote or our southerners the only ones with telephones?
And let's think about the fact that if Cingular has 18 million text users, and half is from the south, than doesn't that mean the other half is from the north, meaning it's equal idiots.
