Jul 9th 2008 3:42AM no. it's presumed (confirmed?) to be a world edition phone like the blackberry 8830 meaning it uses cdma on verizon in the states and only has the gsm necessary for travel in europe. so even if you unlock the phone you won't have gsm service in the states. verizon and vodafone will carry the exact same hardware so then vodafone users can use their phone in the states.

Sep 28th 2006 2:12PM it's out for alltel right now - well, presale on their website. i know verizon is selling it online only right now, but for alltel it'll be out on october 5th (same day as verizon in store).
