Apple blames hot iPhones on the weather, others find oleophobic screen to be fleeting? {Engadget Mobile}

Jul 5th 2009 8:11PM And the pissing contest continues. :rolleyes:

Apple blames hot iPhones on the weather, others find oleophobic screen to be fleeting? {Engadget Mobile}

Jul 5th 2009 11:24AM I love how when people aren't having a problem with their phone, it's "LOL another reason I love my blah blah blah". Grow up. Your G1 has problems, too. Enough with the pissing contest that is my phone vs. your phone. It's such a tired and lame debate.

I have the 3GS and it's been disappointing from the start. The uneven screen, the high-pitched whine after text messages, the screen backlight not coming on, the rattling in the case when I set down the phone, etc. Apple really botched this release, in my opinion. I just wish they'd own up to the mistakes and make right by their customers. A $400 phone should be near flawless.

Now go back to enjoying your G1 and enjoy the fact that it's apparently perfect. I bet there's never been any problem with your phone, right? Oh wait... http://forums.t-mobile.com/tmbl/board?board.id=AndroidGeneral

iPhone 3G owners and AT&T upgrade woes {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Jun 9th 2009 3:33PM As if the $400 isn't enough of a slap in the face, I love the activation and upgrade fee of $18 each. That's pure profit for them and all they have to do is about 5 mins. of computer work to update my account. That alone almost pisses me off more than the $400 iPhone.

MMS finally comes to Apple's iPhone via OS 3.0 {Engadget Mobile}

Mar 17th 2009 9:00PM For all those people who tried to deny that MMS was sooooo last year and email was the way to go, tell me how many times you'll use MMS when it's out! Tell me. You know you'll use it all the freaking time! I'm glad we're finally getting this, though really, there's no excuse as to why we haven't had it for two years now. :rolleyes:

Artist "fingerpaints" art on his iPhone {Engadget Mobile}

Mar 13th 2009 12:28PM Those are pretty cool.

CE-Oh no he didn't! Part LIX: Elevation's McNamee predicts death to iPhone on June 29 {Engadget Mobile}

Mar 6th 2009 5:01PM You know, it IS possible to like the iPhone and not be a fanboy. Plenty of us like the iPhone for reasons other than it being "chic" and "cool". I get SO TIRED of hearing the word "fanboy". I like my iPhone because it fits MY needs, which are likely different than your needs, and I get sooooo tired of people such as yourself lumping anyone who likes the phone into this stereotype of people too dumb to like a phone for valid reasons like usefulness, games and/or productivity. I'm a cellphone geek and I've tried the lot of them - Palm, WM, BB and the iPhone. I use my phone primarily for web surfing the games, so yeah, that's why I like the iPhone. But does it matter why I like my phone? To you, probably not.

Plenty of us, too, see the flaws in the iPhone and deal with it. Every OS, every phone manufacturer, every carrier - they all have flaws. No one phone is better than another when you consider that each of us chooses a phone for different reasons. Not everyone chose the iPhone 'cause it's "chic". Not everyone wants wi-fi, not everyone cares about games, some people just want to make calls, etc. Quit dumping all iPhone users into the same category!

I get so tired of people jumping on anyone's back for liking the iPhone. Who gives a fart which phone you like? What criteria does a person have to meet to NOT be a fanboy when owning the iPhone? You're a name-calling fanboy. How about THAT? ;)

Flame on.

Mar 6th 2009 11:52AM Nothing like pissing off would-be interested parties in the Pre, Roger! I think the Pre looks great, but 1) I'm not even about to think about changing to Sprint and like the article states 2) many people upped to the 3G iPhone and/or started new with the iPhone 3G, hence making many of us still mid-way through our 2-year contract.

Arrogant statements like the one Roger's making do nothing more than piss people off. He's flat-out wrong if he thinks "Not one of those people will still be using an iPhone a month later." Very wrong.

Netbook buyer blows by 5GB limit on AT&T data plan, sues {Engadget Mobile}

Mar 4th 2009 9:40AM Unlimited should mean unlimited, plain and simple. AT&T cannot use that word unless they mean it, I don't care what 6pt. font they use to disguise it in their TOS. I hope she wins her lawsuit and AT&T revises their meaning of "unlimited".

Just how bad is AT&T? {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Feb 13th 2009 5:53PM I've found that the bars really don't mean anything. I get dropped calls here and there and I'm at 5 bars when that happens. I almost never have 1-2 bars, but I constantly suffer from dropped calls and calls that don't complete. This has always been the case for me on both iPhones (3G and gen1).

However, talk to anyone out there - a certain portion of them will hate their cellphone provider.

Jan 30th 2009 12:41PM The "uh" and "uhs" are KILLING this review for me. From someone who's in marketing, I would expect a more listenable review. The phone looks great, but I can't get past all the speaker's "uh"s.

Ugh. ;)
