It looks surprisingly thin, but it could be a trick of the angle that they are using. I am amazed that with a photo like this, no one is talking about how thin it is. I will be curious to see more pics of this as they come.

I thinK ai m ready to move away from AT&T, but certainly not ready to move to T-Mobile. Maybe if Verizon got their hands on this thing and didn't lock it down to much. A guy can... DREAM... I guess.

Caryl Shaw,I don't know if you are reading this, bit as a long time (Playing PC games since 1993) hard core (30 year old) PC gamer, my compliments rto you and everyone that put their hard work into this game. Is it perfect? No, no game is. But it is perfect for me. Please keep up the great work. Please continue to grow, support and nuture Spore. It is a unique and special experience that I think most people can enjoy. My hat off to you.

Sep 9th 2008 12:11PM I asked my german co-worker what Himmelsstürmer translated to and this is what he said:
"It is kind of a slang or idiom and there is no translation for it. literally it would be translated like sky striker. The word Himmelsstürmer describes someone who sets a goal that apparently would not be able to achieve. For this person the real difficulties on his way don't mean a hindrance."
A damn good name for a side scrolling shooter. I can't wait for this game to come out. I loves me some brainless side scrolling shootem-ups.

Sep 8th 2008 5:27PM Direct from the EA support page. Yes you get 3 lifetime downloads with EA Downloader, but there is not a limit on how many computers that can be registered over "lifetime". Only how many times that license can be renewed in a 10 day period. In the case of Spore, the license is renewed every time the master server is contacted. Spore does this only when you go on Sporepedia or otherwise access the Spore network. If you reach your download limit it looks like you can simply call EA and they will let you download it again (But that is only a guess based on how the Q/A is worded below. I personally have had zero problems with this and got it via the EA Downloader. Solid game too, didn't crash in 13 straight hours of play. See below:

You may receive one of the following error messages you have reached the maximum amount of times the software can be downloaded through EA Download Manager:
* For security reasons, you are allowed 3 concurrently active licenses. This limit has been reached. Please wait until one of the other licenses auto-expires, then try again.
* License response error: '78008,Max machine lifetime entitlement met:10
* Error: 10000:78008
Every time the download button is clicked, a download count will be added to your lifetime total. Also if you have installed on more than three computers within a ten day period, you will need to wait until the first installation expires.
Note: Re-installing your operating system will count as a "new computer" installation.
Please ensure that you do not interrupt your download as this will add to your lifetime download countdown.
If you have reached your download limit, please click Contact Us and include your account name, the title of the file or game you are downloading, and a brief description of the issue.
