Dec 31st 2006 9:59AM I have had the Blackjack for a few weeks now and I can definitely say that the battery life is horrible. I was wondering at first why they provide two batteries with the phone. Now I know why. All in all, the phone is pretty good and has a lot of useful features but the system freezes a lot and you have to "reboot" or power cycle the phone to make it work. I have experienced a lag sometimes in trying to type in web addresses, which has been frustrating. I bought this phone to hold me over until the Treo 750 comes out, so as soon as the Palm gets on the market, I will be switching.
Cingular to sell 3G phones in 2G areas again? {Engadget Mobile}
Oct 9th 2006 3:45PM I just checked Cingular's site in my zip code (in South Florida) and there are no 3G phones that show up. I sent an e-mail to Cingular about when 3G was going to be in my area and they pretty much had no clue how to answer. They sent me to a website that told me where 3G was currently available.
