Jul 22nd 2008 6:20PM To give you an idea, the Oz process was also used on 'Three Kings', along with using specially made lengths of E6 film (slide-film) from Kodak.
This is really surprising that they are continuing to do FX in-camera and not just resorting to doing it in post. You have to really trust your lab and your DP.. where as in post, you can tweak it as much as you want.

Jul 15th 2008 3:53PM Sounds like you need to not Merge your data.. get everything set on your computer... then sync and Replace data on MobileMe... then sync.. and tell it to Replace data on Mac. Everything should be fine then. I seriously can't understand why everyone is having so many problems, its all working fine, aside from the no-pushypushy from the macs, but, that isn't a big deal either as all you have to do is hit Sync now in the menu bar.

Jul 14th 2008 1:40AM I really liked this premiere. But, I'm afraid HBO doesn't. I hardly saw it promoted leading up to it, it definitely didn't get the promotion that True Blood is getting, maybe I just missed it, but, it seems like HBO isn't too excited about it.

Jul 13th 2008 10:25PM You know, I doubt the manager of the Troy, AL theater will be reading this blog entry. You really should have brought it up if you expect anything to change. Most people in the public don't notice these things unless they are shown side by side what is different. Example: I took a couple friends of mine to see "The Simpsons Movie" playing on DLP, none of them could tell the difference, I'm sure they would be able to if they saw it side by side unlike myself who knows a non-celluloid print when I see one.
