Helio pits Apple's iPhone against Ocean {Engadget Mobile}

Jun 30th 2007 9:29AM Wi-fi? They don't mention it, although I guess 3G may be sufficient. And I think that "Full HTML" is a total lie, one that they are opening themselves up to liability for.

Again, it is a total comparison of hardware features, when the iPhone is really about the software. It just shows that, like the iPod, nobody else gets it or is willing to spend the time getting it right. I mean it is now how many years, and the other MP3 players still often have interface flaws.

AT&T botches Nokia N75 launch, pulls from site {Engadget Mobile}

Apr 30th 2007 5:12PM If they had their act together we would be getting the N76 and not be a model behind.

Helio adding Samsung A303 to lineup? {Engadget Mobile}

Feb 19th 2007 10:16AM Hmmm. I think Helio needs to work on their reports of horrible customer service which is what kept me from considering them. Also the phones are okay at best. They are nowhere near as cool as they should be for the market they want.

7.2Mbps HSDPA service to hit Cingular next year {Engadget Mobile}

Dec 8th 2006 2:40PM Yeah, given that in Brooklyn they claim to have complete coverage but I can't even make one phone call without a drop (this despite a supposed 5-bar status), I think that they should spend time building more towers instead....

The Boy Genius Report: The BlackBerry 8800 {Engadget Mobile}

Nov 8th 2006 3:20PM My next phone is going to be 3G, which this does not seem to be... If only.

Study: for most, all-in-one phones aren't {Engadget Mobile}

Oct 31st 2006 8:19AM Hmmm.. maybe because they want to totally overcharge you to get MP3s on your musicphone and make you rebuy your music? Or did they discount those music phones.

Camera... sure. Crappy LED flashes make everyone look like ghouls. Rarely have autofocus and only now are 3mp phones coming to market that are the minimum for anything considered keepable.

And the Symbian OS is barely a smartphone OS in most of its implementations. Smartphone should either have stylus entry or a keyboard to be counted.

So why don't you link to this study and its methodology so we can see what is really going on?

Unclaimed Blackberry causes flight to be diverted {Engadget Mobile}

Sep 14th 2006 4:20PM I assume the owner paid the extra gas and compensated everyone for their lost time? Probably too much to hope for...
