Nov 19th 2008 8:08PM the 360 is loud, that's no secret. but seriously, i tune it out after a while. it's too the point i actually have to listen for it in order to hear it.
im more worried about the wear on the drive than the actual noise now. so if it came down to a performance issue, then Halo 3 just wouldnt get installed to the hard drive.

Nov 19th 2008 12:08PM me too. i work 2 jobs during the summer just so i can save up enough money to pay my college tuition and still support my gaming.
and i actually own every major gaming system. DS, PSP, Wii, PS3, and 360 (bought in that order and with a DS Lite upgrade in there somewhere). so yea i own both a PS3 and PSP, both of which i bought a few months after their respective launches. i used to only play Playstation products and Nintendo handhelds so it was natural for me to buy both. i just have more money this gen than last gen so that caused me to broaden my gaming horizon with the other systems.

Nov 19th 2008 11:59AM well i was there on launch day 2 years ago to get mine. ive had some good times with it and other times where it shames me to look at it. it's always a hit at family get togethers and the first party games are Nintendo quality at it's best.
i do wish they wouldnt stagger the releases of big titles so much though. i mean, i've only bought 1 Wii game this year and that was Galaxy...which was from last year i believe.
i have all three consoles, and the Wii certainly gets played the least but it is always the life of family parties so i guess it does what it's supposed to do.

Joystiq threw that 80% in there and it is very misleading. i personally have 2 active accounts myself on my PS3 (one US, one EU). plus it really isnt that big of a deal since the accounts are free anyways. if you have a broadband internet connection and own a PS3, chances are your going to have a PSN account.
and not that the average tech savvy Joystiq user is an indication of the general public, but it seems like most everyone on this site with a PS3 has more than one account. and either way, the numbers really arent relevant to anything anyways. im a PS3 supporter and all, but this is much ado about nothing.

Nov 18th 2008 12:01PM yea seriously. why does everyone have such a problem with WinMo? ive had like 5 LG phones before finally switching to a WinMo Q9c and the LG OS was completely unstable and unreliable. some of that may have to do with it being on Verizon but still, my LG phones would shut on and off when they wanted, forget to ring for scheduled events, and run at molasses speeds. the openness of WinMo is the best part, you can put any program you want on it, many of which are free.
WinMo is a god send and a must have in all future phones for me. why dont you actually use WinMo and then knock it.
