Mommy & Me: More Beautiful Than You {TMZ}
Oct 2nd 2008 12:53PM Just had to bring the election into it eh TMZ? Not like we get enough of that 24/7 on tv, radio, newspapers.
Just stick to the hollywierd types and don't bother with comedy, you aren't any good at it.
Panasonic Lumix DMC-G1 coming in November at $799 according to booth rep {Engadget}
Sep 30th 2008 9:16AM I just don't like the idea of lugging around a camera, bag full of lens, flash etc. I currently use a Panasonic FZ-50, 35-420, has a hot shoe. Yes, it has a little noise, in low light conditions, but I can fix that with photoshop. I only shoot 1-2000 photos a year, so I don't really "need" a D-SLR at this point. I lugged around a heavy camera & bag back in the 80's, SLR, lens, flash, do-dads etc. a "superzoom" is about all I need these days.
David Bitterman? Spurned Host Rips McCain {TMZ}
Sep 25th 2008 10:14AM Ever since Letterman left NBC to CBS, he has become an arrogant pompous jerk. I wouldn't give him the time of day.
If Johnny Carson could come back to life, he would demolish both Leno & Letterman. Why? because he was FUNNY without
having to bring his own personal political agenda to the show. Johnny did jokes about politicians, but he did not do it the
way Letterman does. Letterman's rating have been in the dump lately, and people are surprised? His audience is the left & right coasts, but not in the midwest.
Don Rickles -- Age Ain't Nothing But a Number {TMZ}
Sep 19th 2008 11:18AM Sharp as a tack! One of the last true FUNNY guys out there. I still love watching him, dean martin, george gobal, johnny carson mix it up on the old tonight show clips. All off the cuff, no teleprompters, no scripts.
Now, the only "so called" funny people have to have the f word, or the d word in every sentence.
Zivio Boom hands (and ears) on {Engadget}
Sep 17th 2008 1:22PM Geez! You think I work for Joby? I wish! LOL...
I just like to give reviews of things that I have personally used. Maybe I should ask Joby to send
me one free for giving a positive review. If you look up on Howard Forums, I go by the user p51d007. When I find something that WORKS, I want to share it with the world. Take for example how much I like the averysound.com custom ear pieces. I can't say enough how much I like them!! Worked on the JB1,2 & the Zivio. I wrote the company and told them that the only way they would get it away from me would be to pry it from my cold dead hands. A day later I got an email back from them thanking me for writing them, with the added, pry it from my cold dead EAR LOL...
If something comes along to out perform the Joby Zivio, I'll be the first to sing it's praise, As I did for the JB1 (except for the fit), JB2 (except for the buttons).
Zivio Boom hands (and ears) on {Engadget}
Sep 16th 2008 9:50PM I bought one last week. I don't use the ear loop thingy, as I have a custom ear piece that I bought for the Jawbone 1, because we all know how well they fit. It fit the Zivio perfectly.
The INCOMING sound is MUCH better (in my opinion) that the jawbone 1 or 2. LOUDER with more
bass response. I had one person, who I talk to daily, say that I sounded like I was at home, in my easy chair, with my feet propped up.
As for the boom, it is VERY sturdy. It is made of a material called Nitinol (nickel-titanium), a shape
memory. You bend it just about any way you want, and it returns right back.
Uses a standard mini USB connector, so if you have one of those in your laptop bad, you are good
to go. It feels a LOT sturdier than the JB2, the buttons are very easy to push, and like some JB2
users, you don't have to accidentally turn it off while pressing the buttons, which happened a few
times with the JB2.
I wrote the Joby people a couple of times, and they were very prompt in returning my emails.
They have a pretty much no questions asked return policy, as long as you don't damage or destroy it. Yeah, they are pricey, I'm in my 2nd week, and so far so good.
Joe Biden -- Sit Happens {TMZ}
Sep 10th 2008 10:14AM What an idiot. Chuck Graham isn't any saint either. Got a DUI in Columbia in Oct 07 when he crashed his car.
You would think he would learn. He was 16 when he got into an accident that put him in the wheelchair. Of course
back then, if he was drunk or just a reckless teenager, no one knows. My parents live in his district, he's a joke, but
because Columbia has so many liberals, he keeps getting elected. Well, he'll be term limited out in a couple years.
Celebs Gone Overboard {TMZ}

Best Buy preps unlocked Touch Diamond for retail {Engadget}
Sep 7th 2008 8:34PM I just hope this isn't an error. Yeah the price is high, but, perhaps this is the first shot across the bow, to
the stupid carrier locked phones. If more and more retailers would start offering unlocked phones, and
really show why they are superior than the carrier locked, carrier added bloatware versions, we'd start
getting better quality phones in the States.
Windows Gurus to infiltrate retail stores, tell you why Vista rules {Engadget}
Sep 6th 2008 1:29PM Am I the only one on the planet who has had ZERO problems with Vista? I've been running it
about 3 months after it came out on my Dell E1505 lappy, with 2 gig ram, and it's been as stable
as XP on the same box. Haven't installed it on the home box, because it only has 1 gig of
ram, but, honestly, I think Vista is getting a bad rap. I guess if you are someone who plays massive
games or something , it might be another story, but business wise, it's worked perfectly...after you disable UAC that is ;)
