Jul 21st 2009 4:35AM LoL. Because the expensive choice is ALWAYS the best choice!
I've often found that people who actually have half the class that you claim you do, tend to also keep their mouth shut.They already know that they don't have to prove anything (especially in an online battle of wits, nonetheless), and they take solace in the fact that they are happy with themselves.
So congratulations on the three degrees and making yourself out to be a steaming pile of crap. =)
VIDEO: Nissan GT-R files down 'Ring time to 7:26.70 {Autoblog}
Jul 13th 2009 3:39PM Hey Pickle,
I know it's probably a little too late, but for what it's worth, I voted you up!
I agree, the engine noise from the GT-R sounded completely muffled in that video, the V8 on the ZR1 just sounds menacing. And I don't know about you, but my morning drives to work are pretty boring because I am on a fairly secluded, straight road, but I still try and make it an interesting drive. If I didn't, I don't think I'd be able to keep awake, especially since I am not a morning person.
I've heard the GT-R in person a few times while at the dealership getting my Nissan's oil changed. It does sound a lot better in person. But it still has a very foreign tone. As much as I love German, Japanese or Italian cars, nothing compares to the rumblings of an American V8. Frankly, one of the only European cars that I think has an amazing sound would be the Aston Martin DBS. But that's just me.

Jun 22nd 2009 2:18AM Maybe you need to get a quad-band phone? You cannot blame all reception problems on the provider. I live in Canada and am on the Rogers network and had crap for reception for a really long time because most of the phones Rogers carried were tri-band. About 3 years ago, I bought my first quad-band phone and my reception has been immaculate no matter where I go.
It's sadly the case where most carriers provide A LOT of tri-band phones but not enough quad-bands.
It used to be that my reception was utter garbage at work, now I get 4 bars! If you have bad reception, get a handset with the 850MHz frequency. The short wavelength will allow more signal to travel through dense areas and buildings.
Now, I make sure that all my phones are quad-band, from my Samsungs of yesteryear, to my current Nokia 3120c 3G to my Nokia E71 that is currently in shipping and on its way! =)
Lenovo ThinkPad T400s run over by truck, left out in tornado in new spate of videos {Engadget}
Jun 19th 2009 5:08AM Sorry, I should have clarified. From my understanding, the newer R Series either don't have the roll cage all together, or in specific models, they only have the bottom portion and lack the roll cage for the LCD.
The T Series have the full roll cage regardless of model.

Jun 18th 2009 10:34PM T400 is the series name. Not designated to a specific model with specific hardware. There have been several T400 models throughout the years.

Jun 18th 2009 10:32PM Too bad the R Series doesn't have the roll cage. Only the T Series and above do.

Jun 15th 2009 4:52AM Could not agree with you more!
I am so tired of the same old. And it seems that all phones now a days are getting bigger and bigger. I ended up dumping my Palm Treo 755p for a Blackberry Curve just under two years ago, and I finally dumped the Curve for a Nokia 3120c last year.
I am in the market for a new phone, because despite the fact that my current Nokia phone is very very capable and is easily one of the most trouble free phones that I have ever had (not to mention small) I cannot stand not receiving my e-mails on my phone. I thought the E71 was the phone to change my mind, but they are already coming out with a new one.
But at the same time, I refuse to buy into any of the smoke and mirrors phones that are currently flooding the market. Everything that is out right now seems so gimicky instead of functional. I do not like the over glossy touch features which will lose its luster in a matter of months!
How about some actual innovation for a change??! I guess all of my problems are further compounded by the over-priced, excuse for cell providers here in Canada. Decent data plans (standalone) at $60/month anyone?
