Slate author: Madden taught me football {Joystiq}

Sep 7th 2006 9:09AM I've watched hundreds of football games on television and in person. But I've never learned as much about how the game works as I did on Saturday afternoon. When you watch a game live, the big plays usually seem inexplicable and mysterious. When you participate in a big play in Madden, the success is not a mystery. Rather, it's the logical outcome of well-timed manipulation and execution.

Autoextremist welcomes Alan to the fold {Autoblog}

Sep 7th 2006 9:06AM I think the Ford Motor Company has spent more than enough time wallowing on the Planet Doom and Gloom - as a matter of fact, it's in danger of establishing permanent residence there. And you must change that immediately.

LG's "Black Sapphire" MG810 Chocolate flip phone is real! {Engadget Mobile}

Sep 7th 2006 5:23AM Why LG would u include an MP3 player, camera and other multi media applications into a phone that will not support them with a stronger battery life.

It's a good phone if your aim is to have people look at it, a poor phone if you actually intend to use it.

One other thing, how on earth does a phone with so many functional weaknesses consistently make it in the TOP 10 and get positive reviews from the editor's on this site when clearly this phone has been hyped up and over priced.

The Hello Kitty exhaust pipe attachment {Engadget}

Blogging Baby Sleepover: International Edition, Wednesday September 6, 2006 {ParentDish}

Sep 7th 2006 5:17AM I can honestly say after an initial peek to see what sort of site it was, I'd never go back. I really believe life is to short for that bullshit and why bother? Is reading it going to improve your life one iota? In the poll I'm going to vote for the second option about not giving the site one more hit.
