Opera 9.6 released {Download Squad}
Oct 9th 2008 8:28AM Opera 9 is great, and it is my preferred browser. Firefox 3 is awesome too, just in a different way. I use both browsers frequently, and IE and Google Chrome occasionally.
To call Opera standards compliant may be a bit of an exaggeration though, although it is pretty good in that area. By the way, Opera 9.60 (Build 10447) get 85/100 on the Acid3 test. Not quite a Midori score, but not bad (even though it is a failure).

Sep 2nd 2008 2:21PM I wouldn't want to be without a portable version of PuTTY, KiTTY at http://kitty.9bis.com/ looks like a good candidate.

Ubuntu 8.10 alpha 1 packs a new theme (finally) {Download Squad}
Jun 30th 2008 10:23AM I think too much attention is put on the themes, I worry far more about other parts of the OS. However, I have never been a big fan of brown or any shades thereof. Give me some dark themes and some colorful themes, and I'll be happy.
Oh yeah, Go Ubuntu!

Jun 18th 2008 6:58AM tallman, Opera is the browser that scores 83 on the Acid3 test (version 9.50), FF3 scores only 71.
Opera 9.50 will be my primary browser, FF3 will be my secondary browser, and IE7 will be used when I access my netbank (unfortunately it won't play with superior browsers).
