iPhone 3G reception woes unfixable? Maybe, maybe not {Engadget Mobile}
Aug 14th 2008 4:03PM Hell -- my iPhone 3G gets better 3G coverage than my AT&T Tilt and Cingular 8525 ever did. I guess I'm one of the few people who is actually happy with the 3G coverage I'm getting with the iPhone. :)
Now if we could just get freaking turn-by-turn navigation, I could stop swapping SIM cards between the two.

SlingPlayer Mobile heads to Symbian? {Engadget Mobile}
Sep 28th 2006 11:30AM The thing is... they still don't actually have a released player for Mac. They've been promising it for over a year, and still haven't released a working beta to the public. I wouldn't count on this box meaning much until you actually see a download link on their site.

Sep 12th 2006 2:36PM Oh I hope the antenna isn't really that big. It looks like you could stab someone to death with that thing...
Cingular 8525 (HTC Hermes) in the wild {Engadget Mobile}
Aug 30th 2006 3:37PM The real question is if Cingular is going to pull a Verizon and cripple other features of the TyTN/Hermes (other than the missing vidcon camera)...
