REPORT: GM could be wholly owned by U.S. gov't after bankruptcy, $15.4 billion in loans forgiven {Autoblog}

May 19th 2009 10:21PM 1st - this mess started back in the late 1970's when past presidents started releasing the regulators. Once you remove the regulators, companies will be greedy and the markets will hurt. The regulators were put in place to protect us, but once you remove them... this sh@t happens. The Great Depreciation is the BEST EXAMPLE of having/not having regulators. (Regulators are another form of the police)
2nd - I'm not a Bush fan or a republican, but this mess we are in right now should not be placed on his shoulders. This "rumor" was created by the lefties and the lazy uneducated people go with anything they hear (example: venom).
3rd - the government owning GM and BoA or any other company is WRONG! We are a free country and if they made a mistake, they should be allowed to fail. Using the excuse that millions would be out of a job... is just that... and excuse. Other companies would've stepped in and purchased the "good" parts of the company and/or an investment company would've stepped in and created a new company and "flipped" it. Plus... all those soldiers who died protecting my/your freedom just died in vain.
4th - for anyone thinking this bailout is just about "helping" companies... please open your eyes. This bailout is another way to nationalize us. The government telling me and you how to live, what medicine to take, what to drive and what we should do with our money is WRONG. All you hard working blue-collar workers... part of your pay check (under Obama) will be given to lazy Americans and/or illegal aliens. YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY (which is short) WILL BE GIVEN AWAY TO PEOPLE WHO DON'T WANT TO WORK!!!! Your blue-collared paycheck now partially belongs to someone else... not you and/or your family.

This is just a taste of the Obama/Hugo-ism that is happening RIGHT NOW. The United States of Venezuela here we come... and the last thing I heard about Venezuela was... it's only working for the government and people are starving.

One last thing... the government can't even get a semi-simple Social Security department to run good. Do you actually think they can run a business??

Motorola posts $291 million loss in first quarter, mobile sales fall 45 percent {Engadget Mobile}

Apr 30th 2009 10:39AM If Motorola made a desirable phone, then they wouldn't see a steep decline. Their fault for hiring bad managers and bad designers for clinging on to the Razor.

REPORT: Bill Ford, Jr. "shocked" at Wagoner's ousting {Autoblog}

Apr 23rd 2009 9:39AM What I'm tired about are people that THINK they know something because they saw it on MSNBC, Foxnews or CNN (they don't report the news, they report what you want to hear or they want you to hear). If you actually took the time to actually read what is going on from other sources deep in it... you would sing another song. But the people won't because they're lazy and really don't care. I don't know everything... granted... but I know something is going on and it's called NATIONALIZATION. Look around. The government WANTS to control the banks and auto industry. They want to be STOCK HOLDERS and SIT ON THE BOARD!!!

Why should hard working people give up their earned money to give to lazy people?

Why should taxpayers give up more out of their pay checks to give it to companies that chose to run their business the wrong way?

Did you know Obama wanted AIG to get their bonuses, but then blamed it on someone else... taxpayers money BTW? (names not important below Obama)

Do

REPORT: Bill Ford, Jr. "shocked" at Wagoner's ousting {Autoblog}

Apr 22nd 2009 7:07PM Nationalization here we come! When a government steps in to tell you how to run a business when it can't run itself properly... you create a "Hugo" effect! Instead of "The United States of America"... we can be named "The States of Obama".

All those troops sacrificed themselves for what... freedom? It's not about "left" or "right"... it's about FREEDOM. GM made a free decision to run poorly, they should be able to fail. Some other company(ies) would've took GM's torch and ran with it.

McCain calls for summer holiday from federal gas tax {Autoblog Green}

Apr 16th 2008 5:24PM "As for your comment quoted above... too bad you're trying to make a personal dig. When you do that you throw logic out of a civilized debate and turn it into a pissing match."

Don't kid yourself. It's personal when the tax payers have to pay for others ignorances. Don't kid yourself when our tax dollars go to people that never should have purchased items in the first place. Why should I bail them out with my tax money? Why should you? That money, our tax money, should go to OUR PROTECTION, OUR INFRASTRUCTURE, OUR GROWING DEBT PROBLEM and OUR INDEPENDENCE FROM FOREIGN FUELS. It shouldn't go to someone who spent more than he/she could afford in the first place.

Stop our government from rewarding ignorant people and have them concentrate on our safety. If you don't, kiss your hospitals and clinics good bye (government sponsored health care), kiss the free market good bye (government regulated) and kiss communism on it's way in.

See the whole picture... both right, left and centered. You'll see. Then you'll see who has the logic.

McCain calls for summer holiday from federal gas tax {Autoblog Green}

Apr 16th 2008 9:52AM Stop the gas tax... for who? The people who where stupid enough to buy a full-sized SUV because they wanted to "ride cool"?? Tax break for people who are stupid enough to get themselves into debt and now losing their homes? I say screw them and let them suffer because we didn't force them to buy an SUV and we didn't force them to buy a house they couldn't afford.

Now if the tax breaks are for businesses who employ us, then fine. Tax breaks are better than job cuts. Give them a tax break in other areas to make it easier for them to reap the tax benefits now instead of later.

Plus... I enjoy watching people pull up in their flashy full-sized POS and pay 100+ for gas... reality TV at it's best. ha ha ha ha ha.

Tom Cruise first to receive $72,500 carbon-fibre superbike {Autoblog Green}

Jan 31st 2008 9:13AM blah blah blah blah blah blah. After watching 1 minute of that Tom Cruise interview I am now that much more dumber.

Scientists should do a study on the human brain when listening to Tom Cruise speak. I swear I lost brain cells!!

Brazilian ethanol exports down {Autoblog Green}

Dec 17th 2007 9:49AM Instead of saving our corn for food (and keeping prices down) and using sugar based fuel from Brazil... we tax imported ethanol and raise the price of food. GREAT! Sounds like another stupid plan our government is f@cking us with. No pay raises in 2008 because of poor sales (and recession scare), and increased price-of-living sounds like us middle-class will now need to beg for food.

Something is definitely wrong here...

Rumor: Wii attracts ... cockroaches? {Joystiq Nintendo}

Dec 17th 2007 9:39AM Dirty Jobs with Mike Rowe had an episode that covered cockroaches. Cockroaches are attracted to electrical components.

That's what the exterminator said...

The Wii... last time I played with it... is electrical.

VIDEO: The Dark Knight returns, full trailer released into the wild {Autoblog}

Dec 17th 2007 9:28AM This movie looks great and the joker looks badarse. Finally a villain that looks the part... not like the last joker that looked like he is employed at the rolling-carnival. This rendition is better better than those last Batman movies. They were over-the-top with cartoon inspired crap. My opinion only.

Nicholson is a great actor and could've played a better joker IF it wasn't cartooned up like it was. This joke will make the last joker his b@tch.
