Inside Line pits Challenger against Challenger in Vanishing Point-inspired road trip {Autoblog}
May 7th 2008 9:02AM Funny, I think www.autmotivetraveller.com beat inside line to the Vanishing point tour, they did it 2 weeks ago! Regardless, wow, useless bashing going on. If you have not been IN THE CAR, don't comment that it is crap, you really have no idea what you are talking about as evidenced by the very positive reaction of pretty much all of the press. Wow.....
Vanishing Point Challenger replaced with... regular Challenger SRT8 {Autoblog}
May 5th 2008 1:21PM Thinking he didn't "get a car dropped off" considering they mentioned they drive the car 200 miles to someones shop. Looks like they picked up Ralph's company car likely (notice the regular license plate on it).......
BlackBerry Kickstart flip gets more details, T-Mobile branding included {Engadget Mobile}
May 2nd 2008 1:50PM Chris, I think he was referring to the comment about T-Mobile's effort to be on RIM's Bleeding Edge, to which you can just made comments about at the beginning of the blog.
Dutch cyclists want airbags installed on the outside of cars {Autoblog}
Apr 23rd 2008 9:33AM It does baffle me that, especially in light of rising gas prices and concern for depedency on oil and minimizing pollutants in the air, that someone would suggest this. More airbags in the cars means they will invariably be heavier, hurting fuel economy. The airbags themselves will be made of synthetic plastics and fabrics that will require oils to be used and add pollution to the air as the plastics are heated for molding and such. All this to "protect" the good citizen doing their part for the environment.........so we will waste more natural resources and cause more pollution to protect them. Wow......someone thought this out! Quite frankly if someone is so concerned why don't they car pool in a modern car?
New 2010 Ford 4.4-liter diesel engine scooped! {Autoblog}
Apr 13th 2008 12:56PM The computer will be tied very closely to the Urea level as it is an emissions system (!!). The sad truth is that because the U.S. decided to adopt ultra strict diesel emissions levels, this sort of thing will become more common. We finally got the good diesel fuel, but tighter emissions levels along with it. If an extremely high amount of technology is put into the motor the reliance on the after treatment systems can be minimized.....unfortunately that means an expensive motor! No win situation unfortunately.
T-Mobile's BlackBerry Pearl 8120 looks ripe for April 14 {Engadget Mobile}
Mar 19th 2008 7:34AM The first 3G blackberry.......wait a second, there are 3 in circulation already! 8830 has EV-DO as does 8130. The 8703e also has EV-DO along with the 8707g that has UMTS. Oops, that's 4 already. Also, T-Mobiles data network is slow......same as any other Edge network. Get the chip off your shoulder!

Mar 19th 2008 7:29AM "The 2009 Dodge Challenger SRT8 features an SRT-exclusive 6.1-liter HEMI V-8 engine mated with a new-for-2009 six-speed manual transmission"
Did you happen to notice this line down below? You may want to wait for an '09 SRT8 if you prefer a manual trans. It seems that the write failed to note that not so small fact in the main article!
Jeep Performance may offer diesel engine swap kit for Wrangler {Autoblog}
Mar 14th 2008 7:55AM The VM 2.8L motor offered in the previous gen Liberty is not emissions legal in the US anymore.
Spy Shots: Dodge Nitro SRT8??? {Autoblog}
Mar 12th 2008 7:53PM Pardon the comment on someones ignorance, yes, if a Chrysler group vehicle has an SRT8 badge on it, it would need to be a 6.1L HEMI as that is the motor that the SRT group designed for it. Likewise an SRT10 would have the Viper based V10, not the older truck V10. The other motors are developed and maintained within the main stream base engine groups, SRT specific engines are not.
Details emerge on T-Mobile's Hotspot @Home "Talk Forever" setup {Engadget Mobile}
Feb 7th 2008 10:30PM It is amazing that some people bother calling T-Mobile about this when it is evident it is still in the testing stages! Cool idea for a service that makes good use of T-mobiles investment in VOIP equipment for the UMA service.
