Jamie Lee Curtis says CA fires are your fault {Green Daily}

Oct 26th 2007 11:02AM Yet another incredibly stupid comment by an "actor" in "Hilariouswood" who is totally clueless, out of touch, and conveniently disregards facts; like the fact that the Santa Ana winds have been blowing for eons and fires have raged in the area during those same eons. Of course, Ms. Curtis no doubt lives the life in perfect harmony with nature (er, except of course those trips on small personal business jets).

Where does Apple go from here? {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Jan 11th 2007 1:04PM I do not believe Apple has really invaded our offices by a long shot, and think that is a huge area where they could innovate. Someone needs to: I propose the Apple centric iCubicle, a complete, self contained, highly configurable, highly efficient, fully integrated, wireless work space (which logically moves around as you do).

Cisco v. Apple II: AM followup on trademark lawsuit {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Jan 11th 2007 12:56PM I agree that the suit is mostly silly. I can solve the problem. Cisco keeps iPhone (for use with VOIP) and Apples keeps iPhone for cellular.

Wonder how long it will be before Skype runs on the Apple iPhone?

For some, iPhone could cost up to $1349 {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Jan 10th 2007 3:50PM This has nothing to do with anything, other than those who have bad credit, which of course is of their doing. The same holds true for other phones they may purchase.

The Hammerhead: Is this the flying car we've been waiting for? {Autoblog}

Nov 14th 2006 12:45PM So one can fly for about 1 hour (at 250MPH and a range of 300 miles). That borders on poor, with nearly 3 stops between Boston and Chicago. Ducted fans will never work; they are just not powerful or efficient enough for the weight. The Moller Skycar is a perfect example, and we've been waiting for almost 3 decades on that. It's NEVER ONCE FLEW more than 8 feet off the ground and never flown without being tethered to a crane. A jet engine (or engines) similar to what the Eclipse Jet is using is the answer (at least at the moment until we get that anti-gravity engine).

Microsoft will cripple PCs running pirated copies of Vista {Engadget}

Oct 4th 2006 4:27PM So can I cripple Microsoft if their software causes data loss or loss of productivity because of their poorly implemented software?

Zune unboxed on camera {Engadget}

New Jersey begins taxing iTS downloads like CDs and armored cars {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Oct 2nd 2006 8:44PM I don't have a problem with sales taxes, and in fact, taxes should be raised by consumption based or usage based means, not raised by income taxes. So eliminate the income tax first.

Forbes says Prius, Ben & Jerry's ice cream bad for the environment {Autoblog Green}

Oct 2nd 2006 2:25PM We need to do a study of the cost of moving content (humans and cargo) by the type of vehicle, the average number of people and cargo moved per vehicle type.

Further, the likes of movie stars or other environmentalists who purport to be saving the planet driving Prius's do occasionally drive to the airport, then jump on their Gulfstream IV to fly cross country, negating in one flight, the amount of carbon saved by their little Prius 1000 fold.

The BenQ-Siemens Black Box concept phone that never was {Engadget Mobile}

Oct 2nd 2006 12:03PM I wonder what Apple is up to these days? Hmmmm?
